Bharat Ahlawat on his bond with on-screen sister Sehaj Rajput in Zee TV’s Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile

Zee TV is set to unveil its new show Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile, which revolves around the intriguing Aata Saata marriage custom still prevalent in parts of Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. The show introduces two modern, headstrong protagonists—a fiercely independent and sharp-witted reporter, Reet (played by Ayushi Khurana), and Raghav (played by Bharat Ahlawat), a temperamental "man-child" with a tough exterior masking a wounded soul. Reet makes a startling choice to marry not for love, but as a ‘guarantee’ for her sibling’s happiness. The story explores whether love can bloom in a marriage formed out of family obligation.

“When I first met Sehaj, there was an instant spark of friendship between us,” Bharat explained. “It’s so natural for me to look out for her on set, just like I do for my sister at home. From her quirks to her sense of humor to her way of teasing me on set, it’s like working with my own sister. Even during the sibling bond scenes, we don’t have to try too hard; it just comes naturally. When the cameras roll, we end up having a lot of fun on set, and when we're not shooting, we laugh together, eat together, grab coffees during our breaks, and make the most of our time. Just like with my sister, I’ll always be there for Sehaj, and I hope our friendship continues to grow with the show.”
