Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai PROMO: Abhira and Ruhi both deliver babies, but only one survives

In the Star Plus show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the storyline takes a dramatic five-month leap, following an earlier three-month jump. After this latest time shift, viewers see both Ruhi and Abhira, the Poddar family's pregnant daughters-in-law, with visible baby bumps. Ruhi is in the final stretch of her pregnancy, now nine months along, while Abhira is at seven months. 

However, the mood shifts when a priest foretells a dark prophecy, warning that only one of the babies will survive, casting a cloud of fear over the family. With Abhira facing complications and Ruhi critically injured after a sudden accident, the question looms: which baby will survive?

In the upcoming episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, tension mounts as both Abhira and Ruhi face critical moments during their pregnancies. During Abhira's godh bharai ceremony, she experiences sudden, intense pain, leading the family to rush her to the hospital for an urgent examination.

At the same time, Ruhi is involved in an accident, and her injuries require immediate medical attention. Both women are soon moved to the delivery ward under unexpected and difficult circumstances—Abhira for a premature delivery at seven months, while Ruhi, who is nine months along, is also taken into surgery due to complications from her accident, including significant bleeding.

As Abhira battles through her labour pains, she seeks reassurance from the doctor about her baby's survival. The medical team tries to comfort her, vowing to do everything possible to ensure the safety of both mother and child. Meanwhile, Ruhi's condition becomes more complex, necessitating a high-risk surgical intervention. Both women are placed under close care in separate delivery rooms while their anxious husbands wait outside, desperate for updates on their loved ones.

The episode takes a dramatic turn when a nurse appears with mixed news: one baby has survived, while the other could not be saved. Rohit, one of the husbands, nervously inquires about their child, only to be met with heartbreak as the nurse reveals that only one of the babies has made it through, leaving the family in a state of shock and sorrow. As the doctor brings forth the surviving baby, the lingering question remains: whose child has been saved amidst this tragedy?

As recently reported, while Ruhi’s baby survives, she falls into a coma, and Abhira experiences the heartbreaking loss of their child. In a selfless act, Abhira will step in to care for Ruhi’s baby, bringing an emotional depth to the storyline.
