Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira rescues Ruhi from a near accident

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Kaveri asks Manisha to carefully hang the cloth with footprints to avoid any stains. However, Vidya accidentally bumps into Manisha, and Kaveri is shocked to find that the cloth has been ruined. Manisha worries that the spoiled footprints might put Ruhi and Abhira in danger, but Vidya quickly comes up with a solution. She suggests they take new footprints before heading to the temple. However, they are thrown off when they realise Abhira is missing, and Manisha reveals that Armaan had taken her away.

Meanwhile, Armaan rushes Abhira to the hospital as she grows increasingly worried about the health of her baby. During the ultrasound, they initially struggle to see any movement, leaving Abhira fearful. However, Armaan reassures her that everything will be fine as long as they stick together. Just as Abhira begins to feel her baby's movement, the ultrasound shows a positive result, filling Abhira with relief and gratitude. 

She thanks her mother and God for the blessings. The doctor, however, advises Armaan to keep a close eye on Abhira, as she requires special care for the remainder of her pregnancy, a responsibility Armaan willingly accepts.

Abhira protects Ruhi from danger:

At the temple, a priest warns Kaveri and Vidya that only one child will survive, leaving them stunned. Kaveri urges the priest to offer a remedy, but he reveals that nothing can be done and advises them to be cautious, as the next three days are critical for both Abhira and Ruhi.

Ruhi decides to measure Abhira’s room but narrowly escapes an accident when a hammer, placed on top of a cupboard, falls toward her. As the hammer comes crashing down, Abhira reacts quickly and pulls Ruhi out of harm's way. However, instead of expressing gratitude, a tense confrontation ensues between them. In the chaos, the hammer strikes Ruhi's phone, breaking it. 

Abhira tries to calm the situation, suggesting that they should focus on taking care of their babies. But Ruhi, upset, retorts that she will take care of her baby and leaves, unwilling to listen to Abhira’s concerns. Armaan, worried, asks Abhira if the baby is all right, and in response, Abhira inquires about Charu and Kiara's relationship. Armaan shares that Charu and Kiara often argue, which prompts Abhira to consider improving her bond with Ruhi. 

Abhira and Ruhi's baby shower:

She makes plans for both Ruhi and her unborn child, which delights Rohit, who appreciates her intentions. Kaveri and Vidya commit to looking after both Ruhi and Vidya, and Kaveri advises Abhira to stay in her room for her safety. Abhira then mentions the baby shower celebration, and the Goenka family begins preparations for Abhira and Ruhi's event.

Vidya and Kaveri are visibly worried about Abhira and Ruhi's well-being. When Manisha questions Vidya about her caution, Vidya deflects with an excuse but later blesses both Ruhi and Abhira. Elsewhere, Krish expresses frustration to "Mountain Mouse" for not sharing a photo, playfully asking if they are male or female, to which Mountain Mouse responds.

The Goenkas host a joyous baby shower for Abhira and Ruhi. Charu and Kiara suggest a game between Armaan and Rohit. During the celebration, Vidya and Kaveri grow concerned when Abhira's chair breaks, causing her to panic, while Ruhi feels jealous seeing Vidya and Kaveri's affection toward Abhira. As part of the festivities, Rohit and Armaan compete in a baby-care game, which Armaan wins, further upsetting Ruhi.

In the precap, Abhira expresses her desire for their children to grow up as close siblings, but Ruhi rejects the idea, leaving Abhira saddened. While Abhira experiences sudden discomfort, Ruhi feels frustrated over the attention Abhira is receiving. She decides to drive off in anger, leading to an accident. A stranger arrives to help Ruhi in her time of need.
