Music channel 9XM celebrated the World Music Day June 21, 2012, by installing the 31 ft X 10 ft wall at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus in Mumbai and in The Great India Place, Noida.
"Within a time-frame of 12 hours, approximately 10,000 downloads were reported," read the certificate from the Limca Book of Records editor.
Based on the Augmented Reality technology, the wall enabled multiple songs downloads from the latest Bollywood movies. People could scan the Bollywood movie posters placed on this wall, with their smartphone devices, and for those without smartphones, could do so via an SMS.
"We are extremely delighted to know that our efforts are being recognised by the Limca Book of Records.
