Nayanthara, Dhanush come under the same roof for producer's wedding; fans notice frosty vibes

Nayanthara and Dhanush have grabbed headlines with their recent controversy. The Raayan star has filed a legal case of Rs 10 crore against the actress for using footage from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in the Netflix documentary Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale. It is only a three-minute clip, which has been shot on a personal camera as per the couple.  Dhanush objected to use of the same in the documentary. In an open letter, Nayanthara called him a product of nepotism, and said he was a vile person. She said his humble persona was façade and this proved his real exploitative nature. The video has stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Nagarjuna. 

Now, Nayanthara and Dhanush were under the same roof for the marriage of producer Aakash Baskaran. He is the producer of Dhanush’s upcoming film, Idly Kadai. While Dhanush donned a traditional veshti, Nayanthara came dressed in a baby pink and dull gold saree. Gold jewellery and gajra finished off her look. The two were seated nearby. While Nayan looked engrossed in the proceedings, Dhanush maintained a poker face. The cold vibes were extremely obvious. Nayanthara has got a legal notice to remove the same from the show.

What was surprising was the support that Nayanthara got after putting out that letter. Shruti Haasan, Anupama Parmeswaran, Parvathy, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gouri Kishan and many others supported the actress. She wrote that coming from a non-film background, she had to work very hard to be at the position she is now.

In Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale she spoke about her two failed love affairs that left a huge impact on her psyche. She said that none of the men faced any blame in those relationships. The actress is married to filmmaker Vignesh Shivan and they welcomed twin sons via surrogacy.
