Shraddha Kapoor opens up about not signing films back-to-back, reflects on early career struggles

Shraddha Kapoor, known for her engaging presence on social media, recently revealed why she doesn’t rush into signing multiple films back-to-back. Despite only a few releases in the past few years, Shraddha has remained connected with her fans, frequently sharing updates on Instagram. She was last seen in Stree 2 this year, and before that, starred alongside Ranbir Kapoor in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar in 2023. Fans, however, are eagerly awaiting news on her next project.

Well, in a recent interview with a Elle, Shraddha solved the mystery herself. She revealed, “I do what I want to do. I’m not in a rush to sign films back-to-back… following my heart is what keeps me grounded.” During this chat, the actor also opened up about her initial days in the industry. Shraddha remembered,

Failure is indeed a very powerful teacher and a very important stepping stone towards success. I gave countless auditions at the beginning of my career. I was even finalised for a few films and then replaced. At that time, it was very demotivating.

However, Shraddha believes that these challenges helped shape her into the person she is today, and her fans continue to show their admiration and support. Her honesty and grounded nature have clearly resonated with audiences.

As for her upcoming projects, Shraddha has yet to confirm anything officially, though rumors about her future roles continue to circulate. There were speculations that she would feature in a special song with Allu Arjun for Pushpa 2, but she was reportedly replaced by Sreeleela. Another buzz surrounds War 2, where Shraddha was said to be joining Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR for a song. Additionally, rumors of a potential reunion with Ranbir Kapoor for Dhoom 4 have been circulating.
