11 years of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara: Zoya Akhtar takes a drip down the memory lane; Farhan reacts

It's exceptional for a movie to become a benchmark for many filmmakers and get into the pop culture reference list. One such movie is Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. The film is a whole in itself and is acclaimed for its performers, soundtrack, and accurate portrayal of characters and interpersonal encounters.

ZNMD moved viewers' hearts in a way that no other movie could. It doesn't sound like a simple task to combine a road trip, romcom, family relationships, and bromance in one film, but Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti masterfully accomplished it in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, which is now celebrating 11 years.

The film revolves around the life of 3 bachelor friends who decides to go on a long trip and the trip becomes a catalyst to help them discover themselves. Celebrating 11 years of ZNMD, Farhan Akhtar took to his Instagram handle and shared an artwork which shows a card on the road denoting 11.

Director Zoya also took to her Instagram account and shared a picture which combined a few stills from the movie. Her caption read, "11 Today #ZNMD #Bestcast #bestcrew #onlygratitude"

The entertainer was very popular with urban audiences and drew perspective on contemporary familial and romantic connections. It was also one of the highest-grossing Bollywood movies of 2011 both domestically and abroad, and it was hailed as a blockbuster both in India and overseas.

The film, which was produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar of Excel Entertainment, was directed by renowned director Zoya Akhtar and starred Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, pivotal roles, along with Naseerudin Shah and Kalki Koechlin in supporting roles.
