Shibani Akhtar, a former VJ turned actress, is happily married to actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar. The duo continues to set relationship goals on social media ever since they got together. Shibani tied the knot with Farhan in 2022 after a three-year courtship. Did you know that Farhan and Shibani attended couple therapy shortly after their wedding? The model and actress shared that their therapist was surprised to see them just 24 hours after their marriage.

In a recent chat with actress Rhea Chakraborty on her podcast, Chapter 2, Shibani Akhtar revealed details about undergoing couple therapy with Farhan Akhtar both before and after tying the knot.

Recounting their therapy visit after the wedding, Shibani said, "We got married on a Monday. Our signing was on a Monday and our next scheduled appointment was on a Wednesday. I remember we walked in and our therapist was like ‘Why are you guys here? You just got married like 24 hours ago'?”

The Noor actress went on to mention that they began attending these sessions during their dating phase. She explained that couple therapy is akin to hitting the gym; you need to consistently put in the effort.

Shibani remembered moments when they would sit in therapy, unable to find words to say, just exchanging glances. Sometimes, they required over an hour to delve into their relationship, she recounted.

Shibani Akhtar stressed the importance of couple therapy in helping them navigate disagreements. The ex-VJ shared that when they have conflicts at home, she prefers to address them immediately, whereas the actor typically waits for therapy sessions to discuss them

In that podcast, Farhan opened up about how his daughters Shakya and Akira handled his divorce from his first wife, Adhuna Bhabani. Farhan shared that he carries a strong sense of guilt towards them.

Farhan Akhtar has some exciting projects lined up! He's set to portray PVC Major Shaitan Singh in 120 Bahadur. Additionally, he's directing Don 3, the next installment of the Don series starring Ranveer Singh. Farhan is also working on Jee Le Zara, featuring Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif in lead roles.
