Pl mention the date of the latest update in your title .

Almost missed the previous update .

Coming to the story ,It’s nice that the story is moving at an express pace n the drama part is being avoided whenever possible . Raman believes that ruhi is ishu’s top priority .He may have come to that conclusion having noticed her behaviour for some time now .

Did Raman also assume that there is no man in ishu’s life or there should be no man in her life ?

Because ,as soon as he gets the news that Ishu is getting married to somebody n leaving town ,n ruhi is crying over it ,Raman goes to ishu’s place to get it clarified .

It’s kind of like a dad n mom’s confrontation .

Raman seems to expect ruhi to be ishu’s sole priority n his partner in taking care of Ruhi’s interesta.

Raman seems quite possessive here .

Raman had been married for a decent amount of time .Had 2 kids .He would have enjoyed a fair amount of marriage bliss .

Didn’t Ishu too deserve that ?

Did Raman have this in mind when he says sirf ruhi ke liye -soon after Ishu says about her infertility issue n the sudden end of her love .

Was raman trying to guard himself from appearing weak n pretending to be snobby ? Or Raman was simply unsure ?

He did like the looks of Ishu .

He did like her sweet nature with ruhi .

Now this I’m available n may parhaps move on story from Ishu .

The sirf ruhi keliye convo was cut short n Ishu was the one who ended it on an assertive note .

.Pl explain this as I had the same doubts when I was watching the show too .

Sorry about that. I'll be sure to mention the date in the title going forward.

Raman was quite possessive there, wasn't he? It wasn't mentioned explicitly but I included it to show that inadvertently Raman had already started thinking of him, Ruhi, and Ishita as one family unit. That's the real reason why he cared so much about her getting married. Of course, he told himself that it was for Ruhi. Isn't this what they both do? Hide their real feelings behind the excuse of Ruhi.

And yes, Raman did correctly assume that there was no man in Ishu's life. First of all, when Mr. Yadav told him about Ruhi being adopted (before he even met Ishita), he must have mentioned that the woman who adopted her was a single dentist. Secondly, if Ishita were in a relationship, then she and her partner would have made the decision to adopt Ruhi together as a couple. If there was such a man in her life, then Raman and the entire Bhalla family would have known in the few months that they knew her.

Did Raman have this in mind when he says sirf ruhi ke liye -soon after Ishu says about her infertility issue n the sudden end of her love .

Was raman trying to guard himself from appearing weak n pretending to be snobby ? Or Raman was simply unsure ?

It would be correct to assume that Raman was guarding himself on some level. The reason why he brought up the "sirf Ruhi ke liye" clause again at the end of the conversation was to make sure that Ishita doesn't expect anything from him. He knows that he can't indulge in romance and love again after the betrayal he went through. He just wants to make sure that Ishita is on the same page as he is.

He did like the looks of Ishu .

He did like her sweet nature with ruhi .

The conversation wasn't necessarily cut short. Raman and Ishita were having one of their classic back and forth arguments and both wanted to one up the other. Apart from that, the only reason to end the scene there was because it seemed like a good ending point for me as a writer.

I hope this helps and answers your questions.

AUTHOR'S NOTE

First and foremost, I would like to thank all of my readers who have showered so much love and good will on my story. Thank you for all the reads, votes, and comments. Love you guys, bunches... ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Secondly, I'd like to give the origin of my story. This story was a result of my frustration with how much potential of IshRa got wasted onscreen. I had always known of this show but I only got around to watching it diligently during the 2020 lockdown. The show was incredible for the first 10-12 months before the set and time slot changed. Even after the writing went haywire, DivAnRu and the supporting cast gave stellar performances that kept me gripped. What marked the end for me was Ishita's miscarriage. After that, I followed the story but only through written updates and watching some episodes, few and far between. And even that ended at how horribly the leap was introduced and how badly IshRa were butchered.

While watching the show, many many ideas came to me about how the same tracks could have played out differently to achieve the same purpose without butchering our beloved characters and without throwing logic and realism out the window. I complied all those ideas together and thus, this fan fiction was born.

In my story, Ishita adopts Ruhi and becomes her parent before either Raman or Shagun can. It is my attempt to justify her crazy love for Ruhi which led her to marry Raman. I cannot imagine which woman would be able to marry a man she hates for the love of a child she knew for barely a couple months. But it can be justified if she had been that child's only parent for several months.

I have also tried to bring some realism to how Ishita discovered she was infertile. In the show, she had a sudden pain and the general practitioner declared that she wouldn't be able to have kids. In reality, you need a fertility specialist to say that, and even then, it usually isn't a simple yes-or-no situation.

Additionally, I made the active decision to keep Ruhi in an orphanage away from Raman for a couple reasons. In the show, Raman had stayed away from Ruhi for the early years of her life, leaving her with her grandparents. It made no sense to me that a father would be able to do that. He used to ignore her because the mole on her upper lip reminded him of Shagun. That was nowhere near enough reason for him to neglect his daughter. That's why, in my story, Raman is all alone to begin with, without either of his kids. His cold, rude attitude and his drive to stay away from his family can be justified because he truly is alone. He also hasn't neglected any of his children. He has been separated from them by forces beyond his control. In the show, he was way too rude and arrogant for my taste, especially before he got married to Ishita. So in my story, I changed him up a bit. He still takes care of Ruhi and her necessities, but what is missing is the deep father-daughter bond, which will develop as the story progresses.

And finally, in my story, the Bhallas and Iyers do not hate each other as they did in the beginning of the show. I loved the banter between Toshi and Madhu, so I tried keeping it as such, but they are still all good people trying to make their way through life. They will have differences of opinion but they will not hate or badmouth each other.

Every storyline that I introduce will be used to keep IshRa at the forefront. Issues that the show messed up with will be addressed. For example, both Ishita and Raman's insecurities/personal struggles, their love confession (the kids will not have to push them to do it), Adi's internal conflict (he won't be an evil, malicious child), Shagun facing the consequences of her choices, and even Pihu's birth and her bond with IshRaRuAdi.

I won't copy the show of course, but I will take inspiration from it. I really hope you guys enjoy the story now that IshRa are married. The cracks in their hearts and their relationships are beginning to heal now, and I can assure you that it will be a heartwarming and endearing journey. Keep reading, and keep voting and commenting. The next update is coming very soon. As always, stay safe and stay blessed! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
