Her mom earned and saved only for her to spend , So she is spending it on her own Shaadi , her mom would have done the same if she is alive. If she had to sell the house she would have done when she don’t have shelter and food ,Agar paise nahi karch karegi tho KV ko problem and karch kare tho kis ko problem hai. She is only 23 but shown helping her mom with the resort from a young age , so there’s must be her share too in that money. She can earn more money once she settles well in her career ,so let her enjoy the functions ,Rona dhona se acha hai , she is happy. After all it’s her money.

Whatever it is,when they show her alone next time,better they don't show her struggling for food and shelter .It was too much even for a ITV standard .It might have shown her strong,but it was difficult to watch.

Abhira can get putlas made of her parents …and if Kaveri questions her, she can say Shri Ram ji had a golden statue of Sita Maiyya next to him while he performed the Ashwamedha Yagna ..:surely they cannot consider themselves above the Raghu Kul shiromanis ..and she can get innovative gifts made or make them herself ..I remember in Season 1, the Singhanias were kinda broke ..so Akshara painted her godhbarai invites on banana leaves so as to make them look different and yet cost effective ..isn’t Abhira the jugaad queen ..why not think of something out of the box instead of trying to keep up with the Joneses ?

They could have shown Kipling uncle telling about these saving when she went to repair the resort , so she could have used them for the rent and food. That scene was not needed at all , they totally lost their Brian cells then which only works once in a blue moon.
