Agree with all of this. As for the bolded text, I think it shows how secure SRK and Salman are that they were willing to work with Sridevi without fear of being overshadowed by her. Salman did 2 movies with her. SRK did one movie with her as a cameo where she's truly the lead of the film. And they nearly had a second movie together since Shakti: The Power, where he also made a cameo, was supposed to be Sridevi's comeback role until she got pregnant with Khushi last minute.
In comparison, look at insecure Aamir Khan who never appeared onscreen with Sridevi. Was too afraid of being overshadowed by her talent. Was too afraid to play her male lead let alone make a special appearance in a movie that clearly belonged to her.
This is the mentality that has spread to the male actors of today which is why Shraddha's co-stars are taking digs at her every second. This Abhishek is even now making comments that Instagram followers don't mean a thing which is clearly an attack on Shraddha being the 2nd most followed Indian on Instagram.

SRK or Salman working with sridevi or madhuri was not his choice it was a blessing as he(they) were much smaller star and junior to them both
When SRK or Salman first worked with Sri or madhuri both were not that big stars
Yes SRk was when he worked in army but thats a cameo not full fledged role
With Salman by all miles Madhuri dominated him in Hum apke hain kaun and sajaan or other movies she worked with him by miles with her chaarisma and acting and dancing etc
No one went to watch salman in that movie it was all madhuri, her sarees, her dresses, her songs her dance in maiyani maiyani and pehla pehla pyar hai wah wah raamji etc
instead of salman even if anil or srk or amir was in that movie as hero it would still be as huge a hit as hero never mattered in HAHK or sajaan. Indeed sajan its sanjay dutt who did much better acting in role of an orphan
But when SRK signed to work in dil to pagal hai or koyla he was not that big a star as madhuri
SRi and madhuri never ever required a big hero to make movie hits in 90s they were super stars by themselves with huge fan foll
Their dresses, dance i movies and dialogues became instant rage among masses
In chaal baaz sunny deol and rajnikant over shadowed by sridevi
In sajan, Hahk, beta, raja, devdas etc madhuri over shadow heros
Only sunny deol and govinda were two others whose diaalogues are remembered even today
Madhuri one cough scene in HAHK is more famous than all of salman dialogues till date and so are her dresses in hahk
