Abhishek Banerjee Paid In Lakhs; Varun Gets 2 Crore in Stree 2

How does Varun get away with making 2 crore for doing nothing yet Abhishek, who is literally one of the pillars of the movie - gets paid in lakhs? Even though he’s a way better actor !

I find this disgusting, why are makers wasting their money like this?

He’s a well known face. Besides, the audiences know Varun very well and what good has that done? They dont even show up for his films? At least Abhishek is good at acting. Isn’t that…. the job?

I guess market value matters. Abhishek isn’t as popular as Varun, though I agree that he is way more talented and he did a fab job in the film. And omg Varun got 2 crores for appearing in the film for like 5 minutes? Inn logo ki aish hi aish hai.
