The Gambhir-Suryakumar era got off to a comprehensive start as India won the first game by 43 runs and took a 1-0 lead in the 3-match series. They were put into bat and the top four batters ensured 200 was breached comfortably. Sri Lanka were in the hunt until the 14th over but lost their way thereafter, losing their last 9 wickets for 30 runs. The turnaround is quick between the games and both teams wouldn't have had much time to reflect on yesterday's encounter. There were positives and some areas to work upon for the two sides. Sri Lanka's fielding in particular was very sloppy and they will have to improve drastically if they are to level the series. Will there be any changes to the playing XIs? We shall find out at the toss which is coming up..
