She tried to go the Forest Essentials/Kama Ayurveda way and it has clearly not worked. Her brand has been priced like them too, but it was very shoddily launched. It all went downhill from there.
I don't think even she is surprised, coz she shouldn't be. Whoever partnered with her for creating these products has taken her for a joyride.
Maybe she should've started with decently-priced makeup? Though even there, there's huge competition. Star power doesn't work in the long run, good products do. Even Sonam's Rheson fizzled out.
Kay Beauty is doing well and so is Aashka's brand Renee. Both are very invested in the brand I believe. But I have heard terrible reviews about PC's Anomaly. Doesn't help that her hair was looking fried the whole time she was promoting it
. I wonder why.
