aur Pakistan is protesting what exactly ? 🤔🤔🤔. They want india to adopt their policies vs minorities ? 🤔🤔

Personally I think Pakistan and every Islamic nation should introduce CAA for Muslims only. It would be fair. Let them allow any opressed Muslim from anywhere in the world to go there. They should even pay for their travel etc (so what it they are almost bankrupt)… we should trend #PakShouldHaveCAA.

Sorry, but what you stated above is a little circular, in that, identifying who’s Indian and who’s not an Indian is what is actually at stake here. Also, both apply to migrants, so, saying that one applies to non-Indian non-muslims and another applies to non-Indian muslims is itself conflating.

While proving citizenship under the NRC process is challenging to a lot of people across the marginalized or economically disadvantaged communities regardless of their religious backgrounds (we all know how we have to grease officials’ palms to get anything done in India) at least a subset of them are covered by the provisions of CAA. So, who does this leave out? Those are the ones fearful about the potential for linking and weaponizing NRC and CAA.

I personally don’t think NRC for the whole of India is feasible considering the difficulties faced in Assam alone.
