Plight of minorities in Pakistan. Glad that CAA will help these refugees.

Aisi nafrat me andha hone se to achha hi hai bhakti me andha hona. None of their talks make sense. Their reasons to support or oppose don't have any context..any logic.

Like Swara's logic ..ABV was a good person coz , strictly according to her, he wasn't anti muslim..that's why CAA was not opposed in 2003 when his govt was at helm 🤦 Rubika corrected her but she wasn't ready to listen. Another matter than even MMS endorsed it.

So then same CAA with same conditions was opposed just coz it was brought by Modi, who again strictly according to her, is Anti Muslim. Kya kare aise logo ka?

Hope all of them realise sooner that whatever they say isn't going to make any difference..and spare us their illogical talks

There is no electricity, water supply, they houses are demolished every now and then since those arent legal. Yet out of 25k here, hardly few hundreds return (and they convert to Islam on returning)

I have no clue on what you mean by Muslims persecuted for following real base of Islam (did you mean imposing Jizia?)

Dunki nowhere shows that people who don't fit political agenda are excluded. However its clear every country has a right to think of its citizens and make decisions on whom they need to have their citizens. Flow of migrants to US can not be compared to flow of religious minorities into India who just come here to protect their faith

Arrey behen. How are you falling in the trap of replying to Dunki comment 🤣🤣. Movie ka kya lena dena. Sab foreigners living in caves somewhere that have never visited India and worried ki they can’t spread extremists agendas and refer to movies for a critical citizenship issue ki trap mein kyon fasna ?

Amit shah interview I posted makes it v clear. This CAA law is for people already in India and have roots of India and not a door for anyone anywhere in the world as it should be :)

I am a critic of this announcement, but from the Hindu side, not the secular/jihadist one. To wit:

  • This Act was passed in 2019, and usually, it takes just 6 months to put together the "rules" and implement it. The government sat on it for 4 years. Yeah, there were demonstrations against it, but once the demonstrations died down, the government could have brought out the rules & implemented it. Instead they waited until the next election cycle so that they could milk it for what it's worth
  • Read the fine print. It only applies to non-muslims who were in India before 2014, not after. In other words, if you were a Hindu family in Sind who decided to flee to India in 2017 after seeing the trend of disappearing Hindu girls in love-jihad, and found yourself in Jodhpur, this law does not apply to you. In fact, 2 years ago, some 1,500 Hindus returned to Pakistan after waiting endlessly for permission. If only Rohingyas & Bangladeshis did the same!
  • To this day, Paki Hindus live in squalid conditions & in refugee camps in Delhi, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer. By contrast, Rohingyas have gotten apartments, w/ electric/gas connections, and that too in Hindu areas like Jammu or Delhi. A few days ago, there was a report of some of them being picked up in Andamans. If India has to give them refuge, why can't they ship them all to Lakshwadeep, which is a muslim UT and where they won't get to be the law & order problem they are elsewhere? There's a reason Burma kicked them out, and where all their parties (current junta, Aung San Suu Kyi, Dr Thet Thet,....) are unanimous that Rohingyas don't belong in Burma!

I also agree w/ others who've said that India should have an Israel-like policy towards Sanatanis (Hindus, Sikhs & Jains (Buddhists have 6 other countries that they can call home)), where anyone has the right to attain Indian citizenship either for religious (not other) persecution, or on religious grounds (just like Israel gives all Jews worldwide the right of Aliya). For instance, there are the Lhotshampa Hindus of Bhutan, who are expelled from Bhutan (which wants to preserve its Vajrayana Buddhist character) who are Nepali speaking but whom Nepal won't accept. Surely India can accommodate them in Sikkim, which is linguistically & culturally compatible w/ them? Similarly for British Hindus who are bullied by jihadists in today's UK in places like Leicester

So no, normally, I'd welcome something like this if it actually did something for Hindus. But in this case, it's very narrowly defined, and given the track record of the last 4 years, I'm not inclined to believe this regime

There are some 40+ countries that are members of the OIC that muslims can go to. Why does it have to be the one Hindu country in the world?

Honestly CAA isn't even that big deal as it isn't about Indians.

Implementation of NRC will actually make a difference

Absolutely! The real burning issue for India isn't whether non-muslims of the neighborhood can settle in. It is the urgent need to expel all Bangladeshis & Rohingyas in this country, where they are now a law & order problem

There is no reason India has to take Rohingyas, who are definitionally "Bengali muslims from Chittagong" (as per colonial definitions) or Bangladeshi muslims - some of who may be economic migrants but many who are jihadists - just look at Waste Bengal! And if India does, they should send them all to Lakshwadeep, not to Hindu majority areas in Delhi, Jammu & so on

NRC & NPR need to be implemented yesterday! Otherwise, a day will come when the PFI agenda of ghazwa-e-Hind will be successful!

Absolutely! As my post above mentioned, they had 4 years to do this, but deliberately sat on it. Just did this to distract from the news about the SBI electoral bonds!

Not 98% but definitely the bulk of it. Why would companies/corporations go to opposition parties w/ money to get their regulatory favors done?
