I often read that If police is not registering FIR or not taking action then Bajrang dal members help the victim family get justice by putting pressure on police. RSS is not to be seen in such cases.

Similarly if this new party starts acting at the grassroot level for Hindu and Nationalistic causes then ofcourse people will notice and gradually it will become big enough to challenge BJP. But it will take time...

Bajrang Dal, VHP, BJP are all part of the RSS family. RSS now has the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, and Mohan Bhagwat has called on members to freely have beef in order to show solidarity w/ Muslims. There have been marriages of Hindu girls w/ muslim men conducted in temples in Himachal under RSS auspices, and you have the prime minister's statements calling gaurakshaks gundas. There are many more instances of them going totally rogue

I agree that parties start in one state. In this case, I've noticed that ESB has been active mainly in Jammu (not J&K, mind you: Ankur Sharma has openly stated that his party will not participate in Kashmir, where they'd have to compromise w/ national integrity in order to win muslim votes), and are still building up in other states. However, they need to do that in parallel. In Jammu, they were earlier known as Ikkjutt Jammu, but they decided to go national last year, since no other party is willing to give them a separate Jammu state (like Ladakh). Hopefully, the party can make inroads in states where voters are disgusted w/ the BJP's policies of triptikaran and santushtikaran. They've been focusing on their Sapta-sankalps (7 sankalps) (which has undergone a few revisions since they started), and from what I have seen, those are pretty solid ideals. They've also put together committees for how to deal w/ each aspect of governance

Nobody expects them to win this election. But I'd like to see them get a handful of seats, so that there are people who can raise Hindu issues in parliament regardless of whether the BJP wants them or not. Over time, I'd like to see them replace the BJP, and by then, I'd also like to see more Hindu parties emerge, maybe even a resurrection of the Hindu Mahasabha (which incidentally still exists, although one could be forgiven for not knowing it)

This Mohan Bhagwat is ruining it. I don't like him one bit 👎

The premise of the new party seems very good. Would love to see it grow to its full potential 👍

May I make a suggestion ? I think misuse of the word secularism has caused people saying “Hindu issues” etc. Just my POV.

Secularism doesn’t mean appease Muslims and or Hindus. It means peaceful coexistence. It doesn’t mean extremists can conduct violence and then play victims. It doesn’t mean allowing illegal innongrants in. It doesn’t mean not righting wrongs of history such as gyanvapi temple. Etc it doesn’t mean allowing anti nationalism or saying Sharia > law/consititutiion.

same is also happening with the word liberal as extremists are using that label for themselves doing propoganda. Best example. Supporting Hamas after the atrocities they committed. .

So what is happening is people are making issues into religion base vs rightly using the meaning of secularism, liberal etc.

I hope people aren’t afraid to use the right context for these words. We are the true secular liberals that want to have one life. One country. One people under UCC and other progressive laws and initiatives.

Tbh mera thought process completely different hai Vrish se. And i know why such thought and posts. But i don't want to get into a debate on that. Reason you can best understand. Some people just don't get the need for political power and actions over speech . So much disillusionment on trivial issue. People forget the 'NarovaKunjarova' of Mahabharat.

So many people were shouting and crying about Nupur Sharma and pressure from Qatar. There was hardly anything official statement from govt.

But when action was really needed from BJP in navy case they did and got them back safely.

What would you prefer

sanctimonious speech that is perfect but zero actions

Or

Zero or irrelevant statements but proper action?

My choice will always be actions over speech.

The word "secularism" needs to go. Dictionary meaning is
adjective

 1. of or relating to worldly things or to things that are not regarded as religious, spiritual, or sacred; temporal:secular interests.

 2. not pertaining to or connected with religion (opposed to sacred):secular music.

 3. (of education, a school, etc.) concerned with nonreligious subjects.

 4. (of members of the clergy) not belonging to a religious order; not bound by monastic vows (opposed to regular).
Remember that the words "socialist" and "secular" were illegally added to the preamble of the constitution by Indira Gandhi in 1976, w/o any vote by parliament, which would have been necessary to do it. There were a lot of other illegitimate changes that she made. When Morarji Desai's coalition came to power, they rescinded all those changes, except for "socialist" and "secular" in the preamble, and they didn't restore the "Right to Property", which had hitherto been a fundamental right. No constitution should declare any country socialist: that should be up to voters at all times

There is also a concept in life called "branding", where after a term is used in a certain manner long enough, that's the accepted meaning, despite what the dictionary says. Which is why the term "liberal" is now synonymous w/ center-left, and "secular" synonymous w/ muslim appeasement. This applies to parties as well, which is why the Hindu Mahasabha never made a comeback, even after secularism has been largely discredited in India

I was never a fan of Rajiv Gandhi, but a couple of things he did right towards the end of his term:

 • Open the gates of the shilanyas in Ayodhya
 • Promise a Ram Rajya in his election manifesto in 1989. To date, he's the only Indian prime minister ever to have done it: even Vajpayee and Modi didn't

Which is why it's high time that "socialist" and "secular" are expunged from the constitution, and Ram Rajya added in its place. Oh, and restore the "Right to Property" as a fundamental right. It doesn't mean that everyone gets a plot of land: what it means is that if one has bought or inherited a piece of land, it cannot be confiscated by any government

That's exactly what opposition wants. Create resentment and anger in BJP support base. They were successful in doing this in Karnataka and trying it in national level. Karnataka is facing the brunt of ' ನಾವು ಮೋದಿಗೆ ಪಾಠ ಕಲಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ

Nāvu mōdige pāṭha kalisiddēve (we taught a lesson to modi)'.

All this based on fake corruption and commission charges.
