Geet could feel his sincerity and once again felt a bit guilty for spoiling his get together despite her best intentions and efforts.

Maan could see Geet was unwilling to stay and she didn't bring it up again for his sake.

M - Then learn well and make Sensei proud.

Maan stroked his imaginary beard.

Geet burst out laughing.

He smiled back at her his eyes dancing with mischief and relief.

Seeing her smile. Really smile, he can finally go to sleep now.

He got up and went back to his bed bidding her goodnight.

Next morning Maan and Geet woke up with very different state of minds.

Maan kept sneaking glances at Geet. Worried about her mood. Wondering if he spoke too much about his experiences last night.

Also, a small corner of his brain kept noting down people's names, bad deeds and plan to get even with them in his little black book.

Geet kept sneaking glances at Maan too.

Did she really lose it too much last night?

They greeted each other good morning in a reserved manner and discussed the plan for the day.

Both didn't want to participate in group activities with others.

Finally, they decided to take a tour of the resort and later go to the beach.

Maan quickly got ready while Geet lingered around her suitcase... Feeling shy about opening it in front of Maan.

She finally convinced Maan to leave first, they will meet at the breakfast area.

Once he left, Geet took out her clothes.

She put on her swimwear set underneath and wore denim shorts and a loose white shirt over it.

She prepared a big bag filled with beach essentials and tied up her hair in a cute bun style to avoid getting sand and water in it.

Geet took Maan's advice to heart and was determined to enjoy this trip as her hard-earned holiday.

She planned to be comfortable and be herself.

She wasn't going to try to fit in or act cordially if other party wasn't nice to her.

Her plan of action was simple. It was to ignore all the annoying people. And that's what these haughty people hated the most too. Being ignored.

Putting on her flip flops Geet left the room and promptly got lost on the way to the cafeteria.

Geet heard someone calling other people, but she ignored them. Suddenly she felt a heavy man's hand on her shoulder stopping her.

Strange man - little girl, are you lost? You can't wander around here. Where are your family elders?

Geet wondered and turned around to give a piece of her mind, only to find it's Maan’s cookie stealing good friend!

The friend also retreated his hand at fastest possible speed.

F - Sis..Sister in law?! Almost didn't recognize you. Haha hahaha... my mistake!

G - Hi!! haha..ha.. yeah, I got a bit lost...

F - Where do you want to go?

G- Breakfast area.

F - oh let's together then. I was heading there too.

The friend was sure as hell surprised to see this unexpected side of Geet. Whenever they had met before she had formally dressed and talking about serious business matter. Now she suddenly looks like a college senior!! How was he supposed to recognize her from behind?

Geet and the friend finally reached and quickly found Maan from far away. He was sitting at the center of the most crowded table.

When Maan saw Geet coming, his heart skipped a beat and he totally approved. He could see Geet intended to relax today. And he planned to accompany her doing just that.

Looking at the table overflowing with food Geet asked Maan.

G - everything looks good! Did you start? what should I get?

Before Maan could reply, the person sitting next to him spoke up.

P – Ms. Geet could you please adjust a little and sit elsewhere? The table is full, and we were in the middle of some important discussion.

Maan silently added another entry in his little black book.

Maan picked up two plates pre-filled by him and offhandedly spoke to those around him.

M - You guys continue your serious talk. Come dear wife, let's sit over there by the fountain and eat.

Immediately Maan bit his tongue and sneaked a look at Geet. By mistake he annoyed the wrong person!!

Geet caught Maan's sneaky look and raised her eyebrow in question.

Maan gave her guilty smile and hurriedly pulled out her chair for her.

The friend caught their unspoken interactions and was tickled all over. Never did he imagine Maan Singh Khurana to be so whipped!!

He decided to be a light bulb for the couple and joined them for breakfast.

The three of them sat down and Maan paid extra attention to Geet's comfort and need.

Making sure she was sitting under the shade, having all the drink and food at hand.

The three chatted casually and eventually Geet found out that the friend was actually the resort owner!! He also volunteered to give them a guided tour of the resort.

The people at the other tables tried to listen in to their conversation so that they can maybe join them or stage a chance encounter with them.

These people had noticed 2 significant changes from yesterday.

1st. Maan's overall attitude towards them had cooled down. He didn't seem to care or bother about them anymore.His tolerance towards them had sharply declined.

2nd. Ayesha was missing. All of a sudden, today early morning she left, with a small text saying something urgent has come up in her family and she needs to go back.

People wondered if Geet secretly made a move behind Maan's back. How will Maan react when he finds out.

While In reality it was Maan making arrangements behind Geet's back, to remove most annoying person from their vicinity.

Maan's friend arranged a golf course buggy and drove Maan and Geet around the place. Introducing the interesting places.

The conversation flowed easily between the three of them.

They talked about their college days and how Maan was notoriously famous for doing all sorts of pranks and bets and taking up any challenge in college.

Maan's friend arranged a golf course buggy and drove Maan and Geet around the place. Introducing the interesting places.

They talked about their college days and how Maan was notoriously famous for doing all sorts of pranks and bets and taking up any challenge in college.

They talked about Geet's travel show and all the places everyone has travelled to and their favorite spots.

G - So what's your most memorable college trip?

M - I think it would be Thailand trip. right?

F - Yeah!! We had tons of fun there.

G - Really? Thailand? It's just temples and shopping... why did you guys find it so fun?

F - oh we... umm... well ...you know that there..umm

M - Well it's fun because of this guy here. On the last night of the trip, he finally managed to successfully cozy up with a person he had his eyes on for the entire trip. Later they disappeared into the hotel room intending to spend the night together-

The friend realized where this story was going and immediately stopped the buggy in panic jumping out to shut up Maan

F- No No No No No... don't you dare say it. You promised never to tell this to anyone!! Sister-in-law he is lying don't listen to him. Ignore him!!

Maan also got out and dodged around the buggy, laughing like a villain. This was his revenge for stolen the cookies!

M - hahaha!! Not even 5mins had passed and this guy comes screaming out of the room clutching his shirt. It turned out that the enchanting person was actually a ladyboy and he totally made out with them!! Only realizing the truth when clothes came off!! Hahahhahahhaaa!!!

Maan laughs evilly, happy with his revenge story.

The friend gave a fake dry laugh... feeling a bit ashamed to look at Geet, who strangely wasn't laughing at all.

G - umm... so ... I have a doubt... who exactly is a ladyboy?

Maan choked on his laughter, coughed violently. He forgot the incident because as R rated.

G - is it like a man crossdressing as woman, but then why not call him a crossdresser?

M – Ahem... It’s... you know what I am thirsty... who is thirsty? I see a kiosk over there; I'll go buy some water.

Maan turned tail and ran away, without answering anything.

Geet looks over at the friend, he was the one with close experience.

F - Ahem... It's just these awkward topics... it's better to discuss between husband and wife. I'll leave it to Maan to clear your doubts!!

The friend tried to deflect but saw the curiosity burning in Geet's eyes.

He has to distract her. Fast!

He looked at Maan far away. simply standing and enjoying his embarrassment.

No... not only he needs to distract. He also needs to get even.

The friend thought fast and took out his phone. Looking for any black history on Maan, and finally finding the one.

He hesitated for a moment, but saw Maan still standing far away, enjoying a drink.

Nope. Sympathy is wasted on this person.

The friend handed his phone to Geet.

F- Actually sister-in-law, Maan was just making up stuff before. Let me tell you, this video here. This was the actual highlight of our trip.

Maan stood far away. Happily sipping on his cool drink. Feeling quite chuffed for tripping up his friend, until he saw his friend giving his mobile to Geet.

Maan dropped the drink and sprinted towards them, shouting at Geet.

M-Geet!! Don't watch that! It's just some CGI nonsense. Don't watch!!

Unfortunately for Maan, Geet didn't listen and pressed play.

The video started and showed a dimly lit questionable bar, with strippers and dancers hanging around various platforms. Crowd was chanting Maan's name asking him to fulfill the dare, until he eventually stood up and like a prideful peacock he gestures - all eyes on me.

The camera then zoomed in and focused on Maan as he walked up to an empty platform. He stretched his arm and legs like an athlete.

Next moment he took a running lap-up pose and then sprinted towards the pole on the center stage and jumped.

Then Geet witnessed Maan swirl and spin down the stripper pole like a pro.

Then... Geet hit replay involuntarily.

Out of her peripheral vision Geet saw Maan sprinting towards her.

The scene looked so familiar... she looked around and found a tall lamppost pole nearby and then looked back at Maan.

Live action replay?

Maan saw Geet's pointed looks rotating between him and a pole and stopped short.

Instead of running, he power walked up to them and snatched away the phone and crushed it under his foot.

He looked at his friend full of bad and evil intent. As of this moment their friendship is over!

Once more Maan and his friend ran circles around the buggy. This time the friend laughed like a villain while Maan chased with intent to kill.

Once Maan was able to catch him and beat him up, everyone settled back into the buggy.

The friend continued to drive and Maan sat in the back with Geet.

The conversation stalled for the rest of the tour, and everyone quietly enjoyed Nature's beauty.

Later the friend dropped them off near the beach and went away.

Working in the entertainment industry Geet had heard and witnessed lot of bad things...

When Maan's friend handed her the phone she wasn't sure what she will see.

But after seeing it ... twice... and right now looking at Maan next to her with slightly pouty embarrassed face.

She worked hard to suppress her laughter. She even had to make a pensive hand on chin pose. To hide her rising corners of her lips.

Conclusion was simple:

Maan reaalllyyyy loves to dance.

Once they reached the beach. Geet reached into her big tote bag and took out a wide brim sun hat.

Seeing Maan still have a disgruntled face. She took out another hat and flopped it on his head.

G - Okay. Enough. You only said last night that everyone has done some stupid things in the past. Let's not think too much about it.

Maan was surprised by Geet's words and actions.

M - You... You don't mind?

G - It's okay.

M - This... you brought a hat... for me? Specially for me?

G – Umhmm

Maan quickly forgot the previous embarrassment and smiled ear to ear, adjusting his hat.

It's just a beach hat... but... it's also the first hat anyone has ever bought for him out of a small concern like sunburn.

M -Geet! Geet!! We have matching hats!!

G - .... Yeah...?

M - Let's take a pic!

He pulled out his phone and sidled up to Geet to take a selfie.

Geet's head was tilted up looking surprised at Maan. While Maan looked down happily at her and clicked pictures.

Rest of the background was covered by their matching overlapping hats.

Maan thought the pic was perfect.

After realizing what happened Geet felt a little shy. She didn't... It wasn't an intentional couple’s hat...

Just when she thinks she understands Maan a little he would do or say something totally out of her understanding.

She also recounted Maan's confession from last night.

She had experienced Maan's care and attention. Been on the receiving end of his whims and fancies.

Yes, she got irritated sometimes... but she has to be honest to herself. She liked it.

Geet really didn't understand what it meant to like to someone or how it feels to have a crush on someone.

But if this is what it all means then she is happy that Maan has such feelings for her. She doesn't know how to reciprocate.

But she just wants to treat Maan better and spend more time with him. And see him smile genuinely like this and not the sarcastic smile he used to have.

Maan and Geet settled few beach chairs and discussed the water activities they wanted to do.

As they sat and talked. Geet could feel n number of eyes on them and see people slowly approaching them.

Geet didn't want to deal with them or listen to what they have to say.

and wow she even buys a sun hat for Maan which he totally loves been pampered
