Could this be a mere coincidence or did they actually recreate that scenario? Tbh, I got creepy and psychotic vibes from the guy.

It's a good story idea to make a movie on! It's not torture or violence but domination, control and discipline.

And the red flag continued when he literally wiped it off of her lips.  Is this character supposed to be some romantic hero?  Another example of movies and TV promoting problematic behavior.

I think the concept of the show is the guy is a dominating and controlling partner.  But tbh sune mein borderline problematic tha, dekhne mein bahut zyaada problematic hai.
