Noor Jahan's white washing was still bearable than Shah Jahan's white washing. Shah Jahan was outright cruel, no denying the fact, and her apologies because her son was leaving felt inadequate.

On the other hand, Noor Jahan actually spent a period of some months alone, realising her mistakes, apologizing to all her children in person and saving Noor Bano becoming another Noor Jahan was kinda an okay ending I believe. I will want to give the writer the leverage that she still did a decent job. At least I'm not angry that why the hell did she get a redemption. In real also, we forgive people who redeem from their mistakes, who apologise, realise what wrong they did . Jab real mein maaf kar sakte hain toh show mein kyu nahi?

i have seen shows with worst ending .. in comparison , this show's ending was still good ... it was not that bad .. they could have added few more scenes about noor bano and murad but ending was not bad though ..

in actual i loved the fact that both noor jahan and noor bano fought gracefully .. so i never hated noor jahan to the core ...

Still, I'll request you to watch it. Don't make assumptions from others' point of view.

Yeah exactly. I'm not upset with this ending. For me, the show went good.

But seriously I was eager to see NB and Murad's relationship post confrontation especially since their confrontation was so charged!

Ok caught up on the final two episodes. Dhaannn…Taaannn..taannnn…taannn..I loved the finale smiley36 ok I have to say ..it wasn’t the ending I wanted, or expected..but I actually liked how they made it about healing generational trauma…well I definitely dint hate the closure even though I was lowkey expecting them to show a closing shot of Noor Jahan with an evil smile and a short monologue in her head that she won..smiley15smiley36 but positive messaging is kinda welcome and I liked that Noor Bano forgives NJ for her own peace of mind. To be honest, it makes me want a prequel even more smiley36 but I honestly want Mukhtiar Shah’s perspective on why he hated NJ so much..because he was blaming her for his wife leaving too..clearly he was a classist but there is more to what meets the eye..i want MORE smiley14..I don’t have much to say on the show itself since a lot of you have already read encapsulated all of it. But I have thoroughly enjoyed this show from episode 1 to episode 33. One of the best made shows of recent times..smiley40smiley40it feels like my Sundays were dedicated to Fri/Sat shows of Ary since last 9 months smiley37 first Jaan e Jahan, then Noor Jahan..next year if they give me Noor Jahan..the origin..I will be there again. smiley37 For now..definitely taking a break from PTV..I’m not fully into KMKT and also just need to go back to some international shows for a few months..guess Squid games and Stranger things etc should keep my entertainment schedule going… Not going to be very active on the forum either..but might come as a silent bystander with my 🍿 instead smiley37smiley15 Wonder how it is to not give an opinion and just enjoy reading others’ opinion for a change..that might be mentally very challenging for a very self absorbed person like me smiley36

Well in the earlier episodes, they alluded to Noor Jehan being manipulative in her younger years too..including her role in NB's mother's departure. The show heavily implied these aspects, but then suddenly they reframed Noor Jehan as a victim of her past, suggesting that her bitterness made her villian in her older years.
