I am glad PC has made her own place in the west. She is not a superstar, but she’s secure there. She would’ve faded away like many actresses if she had stayed in this unfair and hypocritical BW. Imo, every woman deserves that unless the woman is completely evil then that’s a different issue.

I wish everyone had guts like, say Dimple Kapadia who had guts to separate from Rajesh Khanna no less and go her own way. Though she too did not divorce him legally and later came to fight over his property.

I am okay with Suzanne also leaving HR when it did not work out, though she too was no saint. I admire courage of Reena and Kiran to divorce Aamir and not tolerate cheating with younger women or kid out of wedlock with other women. At least they never used excuse of image or kids to continue a sham. I admire guts of Vani and Sarika to divorce Kamal Haasan despite knowing Southern fans can be really possessive and give backlash when woman divorces their fav idol. 

Cheating, philandering and constant philandering can and should never be tolerated. It traumatises and breaks a woman. I wonder why should only a woman keep quiet for sake of kids and why man cannot keep loyal and keep it in his pants for sake of wife and kids.

I dislike to see the sham family man image these stars like Akki, SRK, Sunny, Dharam, Amitabh blah blah project despite open awareness of what they are and despite some of them like Akki still being rangeela shaukeen. I also dislike this martyr act that Aamir puts up by crying in front of media and pretending to take breaks and talking about how he takes care of kids to help them digest divorce etc as if he is a martyr and get sympathy of audience. Reena and Kiran kept quiet while this man always played victim and cried in public, leading them to think maybe modern women are to blame for not adjusting.

I hate this tamasha by media worldwide and society to blame women - either wife or other woman, and give free pass to men or claim it is natural male behaviour to cheat or males are easily swayed or manipulated or polyamorous blah blah. While giving 'nibhana padta hai', 'fight to keep your man' gyan to women or calling other woman a seducer or witch or homebreaker.

Amused how women should be isolated from industry but men should stay there no matter how many new starlets they use and throw in lieu of getting them work.

Sorry. It is ousting her from work and planting stories about her in media as a woman all married actors and their wives are afraid of or a man eater, that are a problem.

Gauri or SRK coterie or Twinkle coterie had right to get angry at PC but they had no right to use own links nor K Jo had any business to get PC ousted from projects and ensure she finds it harder to get work, ads, big banner films and big stars stop working with her.

It is always the man who gets leeway while woman is sidelined or ousted from industry or called bad luck charm or characterless or desperate to do anything to get ahead or her sanity is questioned the way media did to Rekha, Parveen, Kangana.

I am glad PC did not spill entire beans but slowly spoke about it indirectly without taking names. We should not blame her for Kangana taking it a step farther.

In this sense I appreciate PC went abroad, made a big name for self abroad, married a man she likes and had a kid and speaks openly on various issues and stays relevant and did not become as bitter as Kangana. Nor did she become like Parveen, Meena Kumari or Rekha.

Till date mostly women have lost work or been demonised. Only in rare case of Guru Dutt, the reverse happened and Waheeda moved ahead with own life while Geeta Dutt also died and Guru Dutt died by suicide after failed affair and failure of his film. 

On this one, I sometimes think atleast Salim Khan and Dharam were genuine and risked own reputation and married Helen and Hema, than have affair and pretend nothing happened, nor used and threw these women and later ousted them from industry. I feel bad for their first wives though, who had no choice but to tolerate this. 

I laugh when I see Bachchans act feminist or speak on gender or that old MCP AB Sr try to act like beacon of gender equality. Or Jaya speak on gender. Ha! Your family is the biggest promoter of patriarchy and regressive values.

I am amused when Twinkle acts like she is a know it all or progressive family woman living on own terms as a successful designer and author and having own YT channel. I think she uses humour as a cope.

She knows what kind of man she married. 

I feel sad when Shilpa also tries to pose as a family woman despite what Raj does.

And I always thought SRK and Gauri doing ads and shoots together was sign of desperation to show perfect family image. They did it in 90s also when SRK was linked to Juhi etc. They did more of shoots, ads together when PC saga was reported. I bet more shoots are coming up soon and some damage control by K Jo who must be feeling the heat. 

Rich and famous families are never families. I doubt there is any rich and famous man who is loyal to wife and kids and has never had affairs or secret  kids out of wedlock nor visits escorts regularly or is sugar daddy to young girls. Their family values act puts me off.

So does their hyping their marriage or pregnancy or posting family vacation pics.

I completely believe that Bollywood politics started working against her.  What I don’t believe is that she’s a 100% innocent in all this.  I think KJo went after her after she said something publicly, or tweeted it, about Gauri Khan.  The issue wasn’t just that she had an affair with a married SRK, the issue was that she apparently expected a full on relationship out of that.  There were even rumors at the time that she was ready to come out as his second wife.  That didn’t pan out and she didn’t take it well.  

No one is saying SRK is an innocent bystander here.  I’m sure PC didn’t hold a gun to his head and assault him.  He willingly chose to cheat on Gauri, and cause all the emotional trauma that he caused his wife and possibly his older kid(s) as they were perhaps more aware.  That is entirely and a 100% on him and he’ll forever be a d*** for cheating.  But that doesn’t absolve Priyanka from her decision of sleeping with and then wanting a married man.  

Again, idk what the content of that interview is but I have no doubt that she knew she would be stirring her affair with SRK again in India with that statement.  Just like she knew she was stirring the pot when she talked about the infamous leather jacket being her ex’s a few years ago.

I’m not a 100% sure on the timeline but I think it happened after Shahid.

Well I’m not in support of the wives and their insecurities to “maintain” their man …neither of the man who “gets away” with it

The only logical difference here is that he’s of more value to the industry…..so if there was a time to choose between two assholes the industry will chose the asshole that is making them more money… 

at this stage it appears theirs was a consensual relationship that fell apart ….as opposed to say the me too movement where one person was forced into something / a situation without their consent ….
I don’t believe pc was a victim here that needed everyone’s support …the fact that she was treated badly while srk got away for the same mistake is more a consequence srk being the one with more net worth rather than him being the male …..I mean had she done this with shahid when he’s married, I highly doubt she’d have faced as dire a consequence 

Rani was rumoured to be with govindha while he was married and his wife being insecure …her career never took a hit coz of that coz in the early 2000s….govinda was fading away and rani was rising and was in company of far more clout …(adi, srk, kjo) 

In the whole aishwarya Salman Vivek scenario, the one with the least net worth and clout (Vivek) got bolstered …aishwarya suffered but did manage to get work during that time coz she was worth a lot more in the industry compared to Vivek …whereas Salman remained unaffected coz he was the biggest star of the three  despite the fact that he was most at fault )
