Well, Mishti was always Mahaan, sacrificing her own happiness and love for Kuhu’s sake. That’s what was inculcated and ingrained in her during her upbringing in Mah house. She always had to act as the mature older sister, though Kuhu was just one year younger than her.

Besides she’s learned her lesson during the magazine fiasco. She did try to take a stand that time and fought against Kuhu’s unjust accusations but what did she get in return? Abir leaving her and refusing to return until she apologized to Kuhu and resolved the magazine issue! BP, Abir, BM all expected her to bow down and accept her nonexistent mistake.
Mishti will never stand up for herself again where Kuhu is concerned, especially now that Kuhu is carrying Mishbir baby and Mish knows how precious the baby is for Abir. For Mishti material gifts are appreciated but not above relationships, especially hers and Abir’s.

@ bold..I agree..

Just as she said after giving up the Mandap she and Abir decorated with love...

"Jo mujhe chahiye woh mujhe mil gayi..."

But .. Mishty doesn't even suspect Kuhu's change of heart all of a sudden...

She left Rajvansh's just hearing a sentence from Kunal ..

Overnight what changed Kuhu should be looked into...

And being manipulated to surrogacy..

Mishty Should at least be suspicious...spy instincts that she had during baba track saved Abir na?

Shouldn't she have a gut feeling regarding her baby?

Yahaan toh Kuhu ki behn Kam handmaiden hi lag Rahi Hain...

Bold - taking care of younger siblings is one thing and fulfilling their irrational, nonsense demands is another. It's true that elder siblings are expected to look after younger ones but not at the price of their own life and certainly not when the younger sibling is a grown up,  adult! So writers have certainly got this elder sibling thing horribly wrong. That's not how it works. If mishti can take care of kuhu's happiness, she can also confront her when she is wrong.

Anyhow, like u said when her own husband can't see it, what to expect from others? I still think she should take a stand for herself though. It's high time.

Agreed 👍

Even same thing happened at the resort.

Now she will think twice before taking stand and again creating problem( apparently when she takes stand family's peace is at stake) which she mentioned today. For her the baby is most important. She very well knows how much abir and she herself went through to experience this feeling.

I hope before wrapping up they bring out the real problem of kuhu that is her jealousy and not immaturity. Everybody except meanu and mishti thinks that kuhu is immature.

Even if she suspected Kuhu’s change of heart she got swayed by all Kuhu’s emotional chatter at the temple when Kuhu listed all the sacrifices Mishti made for her and begged her for a chance to return the favors!

Mishti will suppress all her suspicions and gut feelings to give Abir what he wants and she cannot give. Her whole existence revolves around Abir, she’s closed her eyes to everything else. During Baba track she was the real Angry Chorni with strong gut instincts, who would fight Baba and his goons to do whatever was right for Abir! Even now she’s doing whatever she has to do for Abir’s sake.

Even Abir has strong suspicions that Meenu coerced or blackmailed Kuhu into surrogacy but is he doing anything to find out the truth?

She did take a stand and confront Kuhu strongly during magazine fiasco. Did Abir support her? Did BP BM support her? Didn’t she end up apologizing to Kuhu and calling magazine people to put KuKu on the cover? She knows now she always has to bow down and accept Kuhu’s irrational demands and say sorry even when she’s not at fault. She’s learned her lesson. Like I said before Abir played on Mishti’s abandonment fears back then and Mishti will keep on bowing down to Kuhu to keep her happy so she can give Abir a child. Abir’s happiness is above her own self respect.

Bold: Exactly! Both at the resort and in the magazine controversy Abir didn’t support her but expected her to bend down and accept Kuhu’s immature demands. It’s like only Mishti is in charge of preserving peace in the house and she’s doing just that, giving away all her gifts to Kuhu to make her happy and Mishbir baby safe.

Feel bad for bad mouthing Abir..

it's a glaring out of character behaviour for Abir.

But to point out the obvious...

Before marriage he was all for her

 doing things right...

fighting for the right thing..

 standing up against society..

But after marriage within days Mishty became jhagdaaloo.. fighting with all...and the same qualities He admired Is of no importance to him..

Men and their hypocrisy..!!

And that's what Mishty is doing ..

Suppressing her natural instincts and being good wife good bahu.,( Kitna sunaya BB ne)good behn and what not..
