Kubra Khan joins the cast of Daldal for a cameo appearance
The year has been extremely great for Kubra Khan and her television stints. We saw her in Muqabil where she played a girl called Pareesa who was sexually abused as a child, then we saw her in Andaz-e-Sitam where she got kidnapped and was forced into a nikah only to have it non-existent the next morning. She also did a great job in Khuda aur Mohabbat 2 as well. And now with Alif Allah aur Insaan and Shadi Mubarak Ho on air and doing well plus not to forget her movie Parwaaz Hai Junoon also releasing soon, it seems Kubra Khan is on a roll.
But that's not it. We have some more amazing news for all her fans as Kubra Khan gears up to appear in the Zahid Ahmed, Armeena Khan and Muneeb Butt starrer Daldal!
Yes guys the news is absolutely true as Zahid Ahmed himself shared a picture of the duo shooting in London for the coming episodes of the play, which will see Shuja travelling to UK to try his luck.
With us quite excited because we absolutely love Daldal, we got in touch with Kubra to know more about her role and this is what she shared with us;
"My role is of a Punjabi Sikh girl whom Shuja meets when he goes to London. This character in particular is very funny and extremely blunt which is nothing like what I have done before."
So we'll get to see Kubra Khan experimenting with something new. We also asked her whether the role was challenging in any way or not and her reply left us in anticipation of the upcoming episodes with Kubra.
"I had to speak fluent Indian Punjabi which is quiet a task in its own since I don't really know Punjabi. I mean I understand the Punjabi spoken in Lahore, but have never spoken it, so talking in Hariyana Punjabi was definitely a huge task," shared Kubra.
However, we wondered if it would be a permanent character in the play. But apparently that is not so as Kubra told us that her role was a cameo that would last for a few episodes only.
With Daldal going strong and keeping us hooked to each and every episode, we can't wait to see Kubra Khan make her entry soon and propel the story forward.
