You are tackling, good. Other are not tackling & keep on funding, if that is what reported from your Indian media, then you can believe it, I'm not a sheep to believe anything blindly. Pak is not my country but if your Indian media tells you that, then you can believe that too. Not your fault, you are brought up in a country with such mentality exist, where cast, nationality are important, same with Pakistan where religion/nationality is viewed important. Please don't converse with people like me who don't care about a person nationality, religion, cast and creed & was trying to defend a person who was caught between 2 countries politics.

And yess Pakistan got rape problem too, too bad we can't banned them on rape issue.

well, no intelligent will defend pakistan with stupid logics, knowing how wrong pakistan's behavior is... so pardon me for saying that you are pro-pakistani.

who asked you to love thrid world countries if they are shitty...nothing is gonna change in this world if you stop loving these countries...infact wouldve been easier, esp this thread without your shit hole comments.

yes, I am a proud Indian (with the problems that our country faces) cause despite all odds Indians have done good for themselves.

We have a much better life compared to many of the other countries, so yes I am happy to live in this country, despite all its faults and short-comings.

you are the one quoting other people...so be prepared to receive befitting reply...if not then stop commenting...

Yes, our country is important for us. you dont have a right to moral police us.

you trying to defend a person is right, but not if you ignore the logical reason behind the ban... you think Indians are having fun banning Pakistani artist... no, no-one is happy doing it...but this is the last resort...and its not just artist, ban has to be put on business ties and other ties too...cause we dont care what is happening in other countries but dont send your terrorist to our countries...which Pakistan is doing...

If your first world brain cannot understand this simple logic, then its better we dont debate things with you

IMPPA member resigns post Pakistani artists ban

Unhappy with the decision to ban Pakistani artists, IMPPA member Rahul Aggarwalhas resigned from the association. In a letter addressed to the President of the IMPPA, Rahul stated that though he condemns the terrorist attack, banning one another is not the solution. He stated that rather than banning one another, we should focus on bringing everyone together and showing the world that terrorism cannot divide these two great nations can and become a beacon for acceptance and hope.

However, Rahul stated that since the members don't see his point of view, he takes it as a personal failure and deems himself no longer useful to the organisation and hence tendered his resignation from the executive body of IMPPA.

Read his letter of resignation below:

To
The President
IMPPA
Mumbai

Sir,
With utmost respect and humility, I would like to tender in my resignation from the executive body of IMPPA following the ban on Pakistani artists in the Indian film industry. I strongly feel that art is above politics and as the custodians of this art; it is our responsibility to bring people together rather than divide them.

We all agree that the people of these two nations are one and alike, thus it is the need of the hour for us to stick together. The Indian and Pakistani people are suffering from the same plague, which is fundamentalist terrorism. It is more important than ever for us not to fall prey to this calamity. Banning one another is not the solution, rather bringing everyone together and showing the world that terrorism cannot divide these two great nations can become a beacon for acceptance and hope, two characteristics that are the complete opposites of the fundamentalists that want us to go to war with one another. It is we the people of both countries who have the power to bring real change and I believe that this change could have been brought about by further strengthening our ties with Pakistani artists of all kinds and not banning them. Rather than breeding discord, our actions and decisions should unite. Rather than hatred and war, our words should bring peace and harmony. And believe me when I say this, the common man of both these countries wants peace.

I do understand your position and you have to do what your members want. Since they do not see my view point, I must humbly decide to not accept division but vote for unity and to not accept hate but put my hands forward in acceptance. Since the people who elected me to this valuable post do not see my viewpoint, I take this as a personal failure and am no longer useful to your esteemed executive body.
