farah somehow on Junaid I agree with your analysis, that he married her only because Omar asked him to. As ZaYalicious trust and understanding are also good reason to get married.

Farah - hah! i swear! I just type Umer jahangir to see if I will find any other reviews on Amarbail or analysis on his character.. but I guess I've hunted it on google a lot, so I don't find anything new to read. Amarbail is just too special to me.. it's defo the best thing I've EVER read in contemporary literature.
Chalo, you have your reasons. but I could never dislike Junaid. Although he was kind of a kabab mein haddi (if you are emotionally attached to Umer and Aleeza's relationship), but I could never bring myself to think of him as such. I've my reasons, too xDI need to catch up with all your posts, girl! But exams sar pe hain.. I tend to come up with the best analysis during my midnight study sessions, so I might try to write something down at any such time next week. But will defo post them here :D

Ash - Imma so busy, so replying late.
I took the meaning of Amarbail as the ever growing corruption and the faults within the bureaucratic and judicial system. And another friend of mine took it as somehow like Aleeza learned to speak up, express her views through Umer, so he kind of became a host plant to her.. though I never get my friend's point. :P But I think the first interpretation suits better.. what do you interpret it as?

no man on earth could love Aleeza the way Umer did, so there's no need to compare Umer's love Aleeza with Junaid's love for her. It was Umer's passionate and selfless love that stood out when it comes to his character and that aspect cannot be there in Junaid.. they both loved her differently but yes ofc, Junaid didn't love her the way Umer did.

Thanks for this information about the picture in his wallet, I think omar really had it hard during his parent divorce. Zara must have loved him a lot. the separation did take a huge toll on him. He became detached from people and against the mindset of marriage. Omar's thought when nano says that models cant sustain a relationship! *sad*
