Mardaani...What a power packed performance by Rani...She has totally shown what it is to be an actor of her caliber...She was a joy to watch and because of her the movie became a worthwhile watch!

The Illusionist :- This one is so awesome movie. I loved Edward Nortan, though i hated him in Italian Job like anything but here i fell in love with him.
Magic exists?- for me (as a fangirl yes, I m a potterhead), as a logical person- no. this was the proof of this. How the magicians manipulate the Audience. This movie is so gud though climax is predictable but still enjoyable. I also found some similarities with Akshar movie like how Dino Morea character managed to manipulate the police office to find the clues and how here the police office was manipulated to find the clues. But still it was diff.
5/5 from my side

Katti Batti- Neither as bad as the reviews suggest nor as good as the team of KB suggested. It's cliched, ridiculous in parts with terrible song sequences but still quite a decent watch. The reviews made it look like it's completely crap which wasn't the case, atleast with me. I enjoyed the film in bits while occasionally rolling my eyes at some forced ridiculous sequences. Imran and Kangana were both good. I usually dislike Imran's acting but he did a good job,was able to hold my interest since he is there from start to finish in the film.As far as Kangana goes, she does a decent job in the first half but the second half is where she gives a paisa vasool performance. As a fan of Kangana,I am not disappointed especially after seeing that she is there in most part of the film (unlike what the critics said). The final moments of the film, inspite of being the same old shit were the best! That's where I actually saw some kind of chemistry between Imran and Kangana..and Kangana during those scenes...Just WOW! She is the life of the cliched climax.
Only if the film did not have those ridiculous band baaja ,the whole revelation and office scenes along with terrible placement of songs, the film would have been more enjoyable. (The lip tp lip placement was SO BAD! I thought it was just a promotional song),

Nikhil and whoever the scriptwriter did everything in the story according to their convenience and hence the story looked unreal (like if the hero has to find out that his friend is secretly sending his pics to someone else, there will be a moment where an old lady will click a pic from his friend's mobile but since she is old,she can't use touchscreen so the hero will help and as a result see those pics sent by his friend.😆)

I don't know what to make out of this film. I'm still confused. I liked it but it still is an above average film.I can probably sum Katti Batti as a film that I won' recommend to others but watch it on my own whenever they telecast on TV.

Phantom:
I liked it. It was a good thriller. Saif looked bad in the USA parts. He looked fine later. Katrina again I didnt get her role in the movie. Some bits were weak like Katrina's reasons for wanting to take part in the mission. Or why does SAK go to Syria?

KattiBatti:
It is a boring film. The story is told in a non-linear fashion like it starts with the present situation then flashback, again present then flashback, present then lashback...this cycle goes on till the last 30 minutes of the film.
The film begins with a lovesick, depressed,Devdas Maddy left by his gf Payal, all of a sudden without any reason. The whole film is the journey of Maddy to find her.Nikhil Advani tries to make it lighthearted by infusing funny moments but they are all lame, same old tricks seen in old bollywood films like Maddy's South Indian boss and his lingo is cringeworthy, the gay jokes which was clearly influenced from Kanthaben scenes in KHNH look forced and doesn't invoke laughter.Nikhil Advani has put in ridiculous scenes. The film looks like a mash up of lot of Hollywood romcoms and few bollywood romcoms.

Performances:
Kangana:Her performance is good but she is underutilized in the film.In the last 30 mins, she gets to flaunt her good acting skills which is the best part of the film.In most parts of the film she appears in flashbacks.

Imran:He is the surprise factor in the film.He is earnest and sincere in his performance.

Imran and Kangana try their best but are let down by weak script, screenplay and direction.Maddy and Payal are poorly written characters. There is not a single character which is well written.

Ove Janiya is a beautiful song.
