Its a bad phase for Pakistanis in Bollywood.. Humaima atleast got mixed reviews for her role in Raja Natwarlal.. though the movie flopped, yet she has signed a deal with a big PH in BW... But everyone is badly criticizing the movie creature 3D and Imran's performance in it. Infact, the reviewers who have appreciated the movie has criticized Imran for his performance. Imran is having a rather embarrassing run in BW.
Here is what some critics have said about him:

Taran Adarsh:
Imran Abbas is decent but has a long way to go if he plans to have a serious career in Bollywood

Mohar Basu (koimoi.com)
Imran with his wooden expression was going nowhere in the film. Neither can he emote nor is their anything memorable or charming about the guy.

Anupama Chopra:
About the whole cast
This is the type of film in which the human beings are so annoying that you are actually rooting for the creature that kills them. In fact, the creature had more personality than all of them put together. In an effective opening sequence, -

Indiatoday.com
Imran Abbas Naqvi fails to impress

rediff.com
Imran Abbas Naqvi has the unique ability to act and still seem like he's reading from a script. Not only that, he can also play a life-size, cardboard cut-out of himself WHILE playing Kunal

and many more.

Why do all our actors go there? For more money? For more global fame?
Dramas are sooo much better than those crappy bollywood movies. Hell even telefilms are better. And the film industry in Pakistan is booming right now.

I truly don't understand it. Ali Zafar for example: Woohoo he worked with Katrina Kaif. And now? he didn't exactly become a SRK or Salman or even a Ranbir Kapoor. Nobody really sees him as a superstar in bollywood.

Imran Abbas did so well in Pakistan...his characters and his dramas 😳 except for Akbari Asghari I liked all his work. Such a waste that he went there. Problem is once you go there you might not be aible to return because of the embarassment.

RULE SHAAN 😳

I haven't seen the film but I personally feel that indian industry doesn't like giving a place to Pakistani actress. If anyone of our actresses gets a role, its half the time a down-graded role.

Ali Zafar's movies too aren't the films with great story or plot lines. If he really wanted to act, he should've taken up a series or two in Pakistan itself.

The only reason I think Fawad Khan got lucky is because of the popularity of Zindigi Gulzar Hai in India before the film release. Khoobsurat isn't that much of a big banner film.

Again, this is my opinion personally.

Creature always had horrendous written all over it..except the music. The music is good though.
Imran Abbas didn't seem impressive at all from whatever I've seen of the movie. However, I will say this..surprisingly, I've seen a lot of Imran's work and I say this without any biased as I'm no fan..but, Imran can do a decent job when he works with the right people, the right scripts etc..and that's probably because he's not a natural actor..so he needs to be guided. I've seen the likes of Haissam and Mehreen Jabbar extract potential out of Imran. Unfortunately, Imran doesn't choose his projects wisely.

r u kidding me ? UTV is one of the biggest PH of bollywood along with dharma and yrf.. even humaima's film was made by UTV ..

and Fawad actually got khoobsurat and shot for it completely before ZGH aired in india .. he is lucky though considering the fact that ZGH aired at the right time just when KS is about to release.. but otherwise the case with him is also kind of same when it comes to bagging the project ..

My apologies. I am not well versed in indian entertainment industry but my comments are based on my general observations from my surroundings but i do feel that my opinion on Pakistani actors not getting any solid roles is true.

Imran Abbs and Fawad Khan are pretty much on the same scale when it comes to acting. There aren't much differences. There was once a time when Imran Abbas was as famous as fawad is now, and i believe general population's opinion on actors accounts a lot when it comes to reviews and popularity of a show/movie.

It was a Bipasha movie all the way. Imran was hardly there in the theatrical edition and I agree about the music...it is very soothing. Imran has done a decent job in the past in serials like malaal, mera naseeb and a few others but I have always felt he is over hyped. He has definitely chosen a wrong script also Bipasha has no audience pull at the moment and Imran is a newcomer. So, the opening was bound to be low but the film is getting terrible terrible reviews from the critics which has further hampered his chances in BW.
