Akbar when he saw Daulat Shad when he went to delhi asked her husband to divorce her and he himself married her. That made her family angry and one of them tried to assasinate him when he was going through Delhi market. Not sure who had attempted to kill him her brothers or husband side. Read in a government library book 2 years back cannot remember properly now.

Akbar did NOT see that lady, at first place.
But, had heard about her.
And, then decided to marry her.

And, the person who attacked Akbar was a servant of Sharifuddin. His name was Faulad.

When Akbar went to the dargah of Nizamuddin Auliya in Delhi, after that he went to the madrasa which Maham Anga had in Delhi, which was near the Khair-ul-Manazil Masjid near Old Fort in Delhi.. While moving there in a market, he was shot an arrow.!..!.
