About Lashari...

Bilal Lashari (born in August 4) is a Pakistani film director and cinematographer.[1] Lashari is a graduate of the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, USA, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Motion Pictures and Television in 2008. Lashari has already made a name for himself in directing music videos which resulted in him winning 'Best Music Video Director' twice at the Lux Style Awards and Best Pop Video' at the MTV Pakistan Music Video Awards for "Sajni". He has also directed the very popular video "Chal Bulleya" for Meekal Hassan Band. He has worked with top artists and bands like Abrarul Haq, Atif Aslam, Mekaal Hassan Band, Jal and Entity Paradigm. He has also directed the popular video "Chal Bulleya" for Meekal Hassan Band. Lashari also briefly worked as assistant director for Shoaib Mansoor during pre-production of Khuda Kay Liye in 2004. Lashari's debut film, called Waar,[2] which stars Pakistani stars Shaan Shahid, Shamoon Abbasi, Ali Azmat, Misha Shafi and Aisha Khan is considered to be the most anticipated film in the history of Pakistan.
