Where's the female debut nominations? why would Sanam be nominated for Mera Naseeb?.. her first drama was Daam though.
Fawad should've been nominated for Humsafar..I honestly think Fawad was the best part about that drama..there would have been no Humsafar had Fawad had not been there, at least not for me. He should've been nominated at the very least. If Mahira & Naveen could win something for Humsafar than Fawad deserves to be nominated by the channel that broadcasted it..thank God Mahira wasn't nominated for Khirad..she was far better as Falak (for the second half though).
Saba Qamar didn't need a nomination for Yahan Pyar Nahi Hai...and Sanam Baloch nominated for Roshan Sitara and NOT Durre Shahwar? That is utter non sense..Sanam was awesome as Shahwar..I don't even know why she signed Roshan Sitara let alone receiving a nomination.
My picks:
- Best onscreen couple: I don't have any favorites from those choices..although I really thought Mahira & Mikaal had nice chemistry in SeZ..they clicked despite them hardly having any romantic scenes..I felt they were great together.
- Best actor: Meekal was awesome in Shehr e Zaat..he proved so many people wrong and played Salman perfectly. I think he's the best candidate out of the lot nominated.
- Best actress: Saba for Maat...about time a negative character gets an award ..it's not like they have a special category for villains when they should.
- Best drama: I liked Maat and Shehr e Zaat..Maat had far superior performances while personally I thought Shehr e Zaat's story was better..I think I have a soft spot for Shehr e Zaat as the story had so much to learn from..to the extent that in the end, even Mahira seemed tolerable to me. So, I don't know about this one...either one is fine.
Don't really care about the other nominations..but Falak should win..his music has been pretty good.
