Maan was totally in denial mode. He could not believe what he heard. Only one thing was echoing in his ears and that was SHE CAN'T SPEAK!!! Whereas his heart was screaming that this can't be true.But he also knew his love was stronger than all these things. These things can never be more important than what he feels for her but still he was finding it difficult to bring himself in terms with the reality. A tear drop made its way down his cheeks as he thought about what she would have gone through all this time. It was so difficult for him to accept the truth, God knows how difficult it would have been for her to accept it. But now he knew he had to make her accept who she is no matter how much she tries to deny. She had already seen enough in her life, he won't let her suffer more. They will be together one day, he'll make it happen.

He wanted to know what happened during these years, what is all that he doesn't know about her past. What led her to change her identity? Her unknown story was so much irritating for him. He wanted to know each and every detail of her life and wanted to solve all her problems. Whatever be the reason of her sorrows, he was determined to bring back happiness to her life. He cannot let her suffer any more. He loves her and can't watch her suffering everyday in front of him.

Jaane tamanna kya yeh sach, hai bas itna keh de

He remembered the times when she would say him as her best friend. She had promised to tell him whenever she was in any problem and also made him promise that he'll solve them for her always. It was such a memorable moment. He was not agreeing that he's gonna solve her problem and after pestering him for so long she had finally achieved in making him say that he'll always be there for her. She was so happy that day when he had said that. But then why she never told him anything when so much was going on in her life? Were all these promises just some joke? Didn't they meant anything to her? Or was it that she didn't consider him worthy enough to tell him her problems?

He pleads to God saying please bring us together soon. I don't want us to suffer more. I won't be able to take to this separation between us for long. We have already suffered 3 long years away from each other but now don't keep us apart even when we are so close to each other. I don't want anymore problems between us.

Saree umar hai mujhko dard judai ka sehna

Geet too breaks down in her room remembering what happened today in the office. The pain and hurt that she saw in his eyes, was unbearable for her. She was always his and will always be his. But she could not say it rather she didn't even accept that she was the same person he seeks for. She hated herself for giving him only miseries instead of the love and happiness that she wanted to shower on him. The day she understood the meaning of love, it was just because of him. She can never think of loving someone else but she can't even accept what she wants. She was in such a dilemma. She wanted to take away all the pain and hurt that she saw in his eyes today but she also knew that she can not have her wish of being with him forever fulfilled in this life.

Raste me khoyee hai manjil meree
Mere sath jayengee mushkile meree

She was in such a state that she can never become his. She never wanted to hurt him but she also doesn't want him to be laughed at in the society for being with her. She knew that she will be looked down as someone unwanted by everyone in this society and she didn't wanted him too to feel the same for being with her. No doctor was able to cure her till now and she somewhere had now accepted that her life is never going to be normal, her all miseries will end only when she'll say goodbye to this world.

Maan knew he was going to love her always and he was going to make her love him back too. Because he cannot live without her, she was his life and even after he's no more in this world, he'll still continue to love her. Even if she doesn't love him back it was fine with him, his love was strong enough for both of them but he just needed her with him forever.

Too saamne hai mere, phir kyon yeh duree hai
Tujhe kaise batau mai hay kya majburee hai
Yeh bhee koi jina hai sirf aansu pina hai
Sirf aansu pina hai yeh bhee koi jina hai

She was so close to him but still unable to close the distance between them. It killed her within but she had to keep doing this, maintaining the distance between themselves even if she doesn't want it that way because here she was again standing at a fork, similar to the one where she found herself when she had woken up from the coma after 6 months from the accident, and again she had to choose between her love and his happiness.

One way she will give him the pain which she had been trying to protect him from such a long time by telling him the truth and what will happen after that is also unknown. Will he ever be able to love her as he did her now? And if yes, what about his reputation? And if he refuses to love her henceforth, will she be able to take his rejection?

And the other way, she may be successful enough to save him from the truth but the misery he is feeling now, will continue to haunt him till the time he decides to move on which as of now seems impossible. If he was still looking out for his Geet, it may be very difficult to make him move on but it will be the best for him. He may get someone who will be worthy of him, and not like her who already has so many baggages with her.
