Thanks for bringing this feature back.

It's good to see list of currently online members.

That nostalgic feeling is so good.

Wow, reminds me of old times. If I'm not wrong, did we have this feature on the old IF?

Yes. This has been there in Old IndiaForums.

Anyways glad that those who have restricted themself to online status hidden wont be in that list :)

Nice feature Vijay sir and team.

Yes we do not show the names of the members who have Privacy set to On.

However, I do hope most members don't keep it restricted unless they have a genuine reason.

We hope you're enjoying the enhanced "Members Currently Online" feature that we recently introduced. Your feedback has been invaluable, and we're thrilled to announce that we have more improvements on the way to make it even easier to understand and navigate.

What's Coming Next?

🌈 Legends for Each Group Color: To provide you with a more intuitive experience, we'll soon be adding color legends for each group on our Forum. These legends will help you quickly identify and associate members with their respective groups.

🌟 Ladder and Non-Ladder Groups: In our ongoing efforts to enhance your Forum experience, we will be categorising the online member list into "Ladder" and "Non-Ladder" groups.

This categorisation will make it even simpler for you to connect with members who share your interests and goals, especially when it comes to engaging with select members like our Admins, various Moderator Groups, and the dedicated IF Staff.

We're committed to providing you with a user-friendly and vibrant community space, and these upcoming changes will further enhance your Forum experience.

Please stay tuned for the upcoming update, which will be rolled out soon. We appreciate your ongoing support and enthusiasm as we work to make your Forum interactions even more enjoyable.

Thank you for being an integral part of our Forum community!

Best regards,

India Forums Team 🚀🌟

What's a genuine reason to Hide one's online status and visit streak? Are my reasons genuine?

I don't want anyone to demand immediate replies from me just because I'm logged in.

I don't need anyone tracking and discussing how many consecutive days I've been here.

I would rather not be invited indiscriminately into personal topics like birthday threads, or expected to vote for a member in a contest without taking the time to read every submission.

Being able to see the last date someone visited is enough for me to judge whether to tag that person. I don't derive any useful information from anyone's online status or visit streak.

Although my Privacy setting is always Hide, I've never Blocked anyone, used the Buddies Only setting, or made any part of my Profile private. Is there any advantage to being Blocked by members of the DT?

Should the Profile Visitors List page display how much time someone spends browsing my Profile?

Ever since I became a Groupbie, I've been asking: what privileges come with promotion to the next rank, or from earning any badge?

I value open communication with everyone, regardless of rank. I've noticed that members with fewer posts tend to make longer, more thoughtful posts, but why do you think I should respond intuitively to group colours?

I only see the online members list when I click on forums though which I hardly go to. Wouldn't it be better if it showed the list at the bottom of every page?

That would be repetition of the same thing. However I do understand what you trying to say and we will look at alternate ways how we can have something through which you can access lists of friends who are currently online.
