We’re thrilled to announce some major upgrades that will improve your experience on our site. We’re now using Cloudflare’s Business plan, bringing several benefits:

  • Faster Page Loads: We’re now serving pages from an “Edge cache,” meaning content is delivered from servers closer to you. This should make pages load faster!
  • Enhanced Security: We have upgraded our CDN service which also provides us advanced security features that helps protect our site and keep your data safe.
  • Higher Reliability: This new setup helps us reduce downtime, ensuring the site stays up even during busy times.
  • Updated Links: We’ve also migrated all old forum post links that pointed to “india-forums.com” to the latest URLs, and removed links that are no longer active, making navigation easier.

We’d love to hear your feedback! Please take a moment to browse the site and let us know if you notice faster loading times or other improvements. Your input helps us keep enhancing your experience here.

Thank you for being part of our community!

Good suggestion. smiley27

However, the issue is that Google loads all those advertisements from that nation when we are in another country. Because of this, there are far too many advertisements on the page. Our IF is not the source of these ads. I will be overjoyed if our IF receives this significant number of advertisements. If IF gets these ads, Vijay will get good resources to improvise the website more frequently!smiley1

Thanks for the tag @Viswasruti smiley9.

I've some questions about the changed URLs -

  1. Does this mean old indices with the old format of links are now defunct?
  2. Everytime we change the topic name, the link will also change. So will we have to keep updating links everytime or do the old titled link still work?

  1. No, old links aren’t defunct. They’ve been updated to match the new site format, and only links for topics that no longer exist have been removed.
  2. The URL is based on the topic name at the time it’s created, and it doesn’t change even if you edit the topic name later. If a URL does get updated, it will automatically redirect to the new link, so you won’t need to update it manually.
