I like new blocking feature and started using it as well but seems like there is some bug.

I can read the post of those whom I have blocked if those posts are quoted by someone. Can you fix this bug dev team?

1. Context Maintenance: Allowing quoted posts to remain visible ensures conversations retain their context and avoids misunderstandings.
2. Thread Coherence: Hiding quotes could disrupt the flow of discussions and make it harder to follow along.
3. Engagement and Clarity: Full context helps maintain clarity and meaningful participation for everyone.

As a suggestion, learning to overlook these partially visible quoted posts if you don’t want to read a particular user can be beneficial. As it anyway shows just 2-3 lines and to read one has to click the expand button to read fully, and a bit of tolerance in this regard helps maintain the harmony and flow of the forum.

Yesterday I couldn't see them. Can you please bring back the original change? Or is it a bug?

I'd rather not see their posts as the aversion is mutual.

I tried that yesterday while testing. I did not blocked that person earlier rather that person had blocked me and i had a unblock button and when i clicked on it i was able to see their post.

No, they still have me blocked, which suits me fine. It's the discrepancy which is annoying and moreover I'd rather not see that codswallop.

The same thing happened when the block button was new. The blocker could quote those posts but they couldn't quote the blocker till it went into equilibrium.

I can't see posts of those who I've blocked but I can still see posts of those who've blocked me.

I wonder if they can see mine. I'd hope not.

Thanks a lot for changing the blocking feature. Now, those who have blocked me, hopefully aren't bothered with my posts and I can still read theirs

how come the person that i've blocked is still able to quote my posts? can someone advise?
