Mayank:Hello..Benji..!!!
Benjiin a quite shock and amused tone..:Mayank'!!! Itne time bad..itni raat ko sab thik to hain na'
Mayank:Nahi..kuch thik nahi hain..tu jaldi se mere ghar aa ja apni Doctor kit le ker'
Benji:Mayank'kya hua'.aur iss waqt'.aur mein tu vese bhi mein to baccho ka doctor hoon..
Mayank:Mujhe usi ki zarurat hain..please mein tujhe baad mein sab kuch samjh doonga..tu please jaldi..aa'
Benji:I am coming in 5 minutes..just open the door'
Mayank:Yeah..!! sure..come soon'
They hang up the phone..while Mayank was sitting near Shriya..caressing her forhead'making her shivering to relax a bit'..but it was no use'Nupur came from downstairs holding bowl of cold water and few white strips with her..and made her way towards bed'
She start putting wet strips on head again and again and pouring it again in water'making her fever to subside..she said while putting the strips on her head,"Kitni der mein aa raha hain Benji'"
Mayank..calming her down.."Bas ane wala hain..then only door bell ring he said,"Lo aa gaya ghabrao mat sab thik ho jaayega'"
He went down hurridely to open the door..not thinking twice that now even he has to give some answers to Benji also'He opened the door..and greeted him and said,"Jaldi uper chal'Shriya ko bahut tez bukhar ho raha hain..aur vo bahut Shiver kar rahi hain.."
Practically dragging him to the stairs ..where Benji was little bit bewildered hearing what was Mayank saying..he asked him,"Shriya'"
Mayank:Haan meri beti..she is of 3 yrs..tu jaldi chal'.
One thought came in Benji's mind that may she is adopted child of Mayank..but as soon as he entered the room'all what he was thinking the infront of him was complete opposite..Nupur was sitting right infront of him and a sweet little girl was shivering in fever laying besides her'He stopped at his track..and questionly and shockingly looked towards Mayank..who was now sitting beside Shriya..carressing her..making her relax and was saying,"Shona dekho..mein doctor uncle to le aya hoon..ab tum jaldi se thik ho jaaogi'.looking towards Benji'Benji..jaldi aa dekh na'."
May be Mayank didn't noticed shocked expressionas of Benji'but Nupur sensed it and said to Mayank,"Mayank'Benji'mein..Shriya'."
Her these words were enough for him to realise that even Benji also don't know about Nupur's arrival'.he looked towards him and said,"Mein tujhe sab kuch explain kar doonga..but please abhi k liye'meri beti ko dekh le..she is burning in fever'"
Mayank's voice came out was almost in a plea..not delaying more he approached towards Shriya hanging her stethescope'meanwhile when Mayank was pleading to Benji Shriya opened her eyes'hearing her Dadaa's Voice'as she opened and saw a figure approaching towards them..she instantly hugged her mother and said,"Mamaa'vo mujhe le jaayega..and cried'and shouted on Benji..jao chale jao..yahan se..Please mujhe chod do'.and started crying more miserably'.
Her behaviour shook Benji from the core..he has encountered with so many small chlidren but it seems..Shriya was deeply effected with something that's why she was behaving like this..he tried to approach her more..when she again shouted,"Nahi please mat aao'Dadaa..vo bad uncle mujhe le jaayenge'Jao yahan se'Dadaa.."And again started crying'
Mayank hugged her..while Nupur moved away to give benji'to sit beside her..they both exchange warm looks where he assures everything would be fine..she nodded her head moved towards Mayank while Shriya hugged her father more tightly'.
Mayank:Shriya..baccha..koi tumhe kuch nahi karega'mein hoon na..aur fir ye to aapke Dadaa..k friend hain..ye bhi Dadaa..k jese ache hain'ye aapko kuch nahi karenge'aapko fever ho raha na..to bas mene bulaya hain'kuch nahi hoga mein hoon na'aap ko darr lag raha hain..to aap mera haath pakad lo..okay.."
Shriya convincing a bit from her father's words..:Okay Dadaa..Saying she held his hand tighly'while Benji examines her 'he tried to be at atmost soft while examining her'
After a while he said,"Lagta hain'kuch bura hua jiske vajah se isse achanak se fever aa gaya aur fir she started shivering.."
Mayank:Haan kuch aisa hi hua tha'..
Benji:Dekh..fever to ek-do din mein utar jaayega..but for shivering'.he kept a gloomy face..panicking Mayank'
Mayank:Shivering kya..Bol..
Benji:Yaar'.vo'I need to give injection for that'
Nupur:Thik hain..tumhare pass hain..yaa fir'lana padega'.
Benji:Nahi mere pass hain..
Mayank..in a little anger tone..:Kya mere pass..hain..khabar daar jo meri beti ko injection ka in bhi lagani ki koshish ki..
Nupur:Mayank vo doctor hain..use zaayeda pata hain..
Mayank:Nupur..vo Doctor hain iska matlab ye nahi hain ki vo jab chahe meri beti ko injection laga sake'
Nupur:Mayank..samjhne ki koshish karo..
Benji:Haan yaar'mein bhi isliye keh raha hoon..coz mujhe pata hain kya zaruri hain bacho k liye aur kya nahi'
Mayank:Tu chup kar'.mujhe to ye samjh mein nahi aa raha hain..tu doctor bann kese gaya..are tujhe doctor banaya..kisne'.
Benji:Chill yaar'chill'.
Mayank:What Chill chill..maar khayageya..tabi akal thikane aayegi teri'
Nupur:Bas bhi karo Mayank..vo jo bhi keh raha hain..Shriya k liye keh raha hain..apni beti ki halat to dekho..aur vese bi..ab to uske vaccines k time bhi aa gaye hain..to'kya tum tab bhi yahi karoge'.
Mayank:But Nupur'
Benji:Nups..sahi keh rahi hain Dude..it is necessary for her'.
Shriya:Dadaa kya hua'
Mayank:Kuch nahi shona..aap bas eyes band karo..aur Dadaa..ko tightly pakad lo'
She does as her father said'.she felt a thin sharp pain for fractions of second across her body'and shriek in pain..while Mayank was just numbling "bas ho gaya hain..jaan'" his condition was almost as same as that of Shriya'.
Benji:Lo ho gaya '
Nupur:Dekha'.Thanks Benji..tumhe itni late bulaya..and still you came..
Benji:Oh c'mon Nups..ab tum log mere saath formality karoge'.
She smiled to him when he said while Mayank said in little anger,"Tujhe injection lagana bhi nahi ataa'kitni jor se chilaayi meri bacchi'"
Nupur:Bas karo Mayank'
They Made Shriya sleep..while her shivering was subsiding down'while Benji said to Nupur coming down from stairs,"Welcome Back Nups..I am really very Happy to see you.." Saying he gave a friendly hug to her and she too responded the same'..untill they heard a cough sound'they broke it when Benji said,"Chalo finally..angry-young sadu man is back'"
Saying Nupur-Benji high-fy each other'and giggled when Benji said out of a blue,"Humari group ki jaan aa gyi..i am really very haapy..aur haan ek baat aur..Your daughter is extremely beautifull like you Nupsie'"
Nupur:Thanks Mr.Ben..
Bowing his head down "my pleasure"'Sensing a tension on Mayank he said,"Fiker mat she is fine'vese to bada strong hain..lekin..ab to dekho Mr'Mayank Sharma ki halat'beta yahi hota hain'"
Mayank:Benji..tu sahi keh raha hain..
Benji:Acha ye sab..kese hua'
Mayank:Bahut lambi kahani hain'.
Benji:Chal short mein bata de.. while Nupur went above as Shriya was sleeping alone'
Mayank..made him sat on the sofa and said,"Humari shaadi ke ek raat pehle Dhruv ne Nupur ko kidnap kar liya tha'Pichle 4 saal se vo Dhruv k pass thi'"
Benji:Tujhe pata kese chala '
Mayank:Mere pass Inspector ka phone ayaa tha..saying ki koi ladki hospital mein admitt hain and Dhruv ka encounter ho gaya hain'Dhruv ne bahut illtreat kiya hain Nupur aur Shriya k saath..badi mushkil se Shriya ne mujhe apna Dadaa..manaa..jab aaj shaam ko mene Mom-Dad aur Nupur k Mom-Dada ko bulayaa..they said very awfull things to Shriya'.just because she was my daughter..not Dhruv's'.uss shaam ka asar dekh raha hain meri bachi per'.
While he was in tears'Benji put his comforting hand on his shoulder and said,"Tu fiker mat kar sab thik ho jaayega'Hum hain na tere saath..jab dost akela ya musibat mein hota hain..tab humare jese hi dost aate hain uska sar dard badhane..
Mayank:Kya..
Benji:Are just kidding yaar..matlab uska dukh baatne'.
Mayank:Thanks for understanding'
Benji:Chal chal bahut formality ho gayi'pehle ye bata..mujhe gift kya milega'
Mayank:Gift kesa gift'
Benji:Hey'!! Are mein ek choti si pyari si innocent si doll ka Chachu hoon..mujhe gift nahi milega'.
Mayank:Hmm..haan kyu nahi'showing his punch'ye kesa rahega'meri phool si bachi ko injection lagane k liye'
Benji:Bahut bhaari hoga'
Mayank:Tu sudhrega nahi'
Benji:Aji'agar hum sudhar gaye to ye duniya hi bigad jaayegi..
Mayank:Bas bas bahut natak ho gaye tere..jaa ab'
Benji:Kya zamaana aa gaya hain..ek dost apne dost ko ghar k bahar phek raha hain'haaye'.
Mayank in a stern voice..:Benji'
Benji:Jata hoon..acha sun apna Nupur ka aur Shriya ka dhayan rakhna mein kal aaunga'.
Mayank:Thanks yaar'and I'll'.
Benji giving him hug:Chal bye'
Mayank:Bye'
Closing the door he went upstairs'seeing Nupur was already cuddled to Shriya was sleeping he too laid near her and at an impulse reaction Shriya hel his tummy grasping presence of her father there'Smiling to himself he too drifted in sleep.
