Exactly! She didn't check the site even when she knew all that only because it was her aroo, whose career will be spoilt if it really turns out to be an accident. Akshara was as much involved in the hit and run here. But to save aroo, sab chalega. Jhoot, not checking whether someone was hit, running away possibly leaving someone to die, all because aroo ko protect karna hai.

And also hiding about the entire overdose and car incident from the family, only to save aroo and hide her mistakes again. 🥱

And she's not only thinking, but she's actually hoping that he'll backtrack on his decision to not have Arohi attend the wedding. She wants him to finally accept and love her sister who almost killed his mother. How insensitive is that.

She doesn't respect Abhimanyu, his feelings or his love. If she did, she'll understand his mindset and how big a thing this is. If she actually loved him, she'll not expect him to accept her sister after what her sister has done to his mother.

Sadly, she doesn't seem to even get a hint that he's wanting aroo out of the wedding only to keep her away from the bad influence. He saw how she's blackmailed and emotionally manipulated by aroo and pointed this out so explicitly. Phir bhi akkal nahi hai. Marriage is not a good idea at all at this point.

And now again, she's being dishonest and hiding the truth from him by indirectly indicating she's happy and playing with words when he directly asked her how she feels about her decision. At least ab toh truthful rehti and just tell him that she doesn't care whatever crime her sister does, she'll always want to latch onto the abusive relationship.

Abhimanyu should understand that she was silent and couldn't make the decision because she wants to choose her sister. But lacks the courage to be truthful and do that.

Before going to the park, she was even convincing Arohi that she loves her and her importance hasn't reduced. 😳

It is insensitive and plain wrong. No wonder Abhi has insecurities. Who wouldn't? Forget about him wanting to keep Akshara away from bad influence. Even if it is just because of the accident and Arohi being in the driver seat, what he is asking is 100% justified and if she can't think from that POV then she is not the FL. For me, it's as simple as that.

I wish they don't show Abhimanyu as this desperate. I wish they show him strong enough to let go of her. A separation at this point is much needed in this track. Marriage in these circumstances is not healthy - not for him, not for her. His insecurities aside, Akshara needs to sit and think on her priorities.

Harsh is not wrong - Abhimanyu bending every time is not helping the situation or their love. It just gives both the sisters more reason to take him for granted. Maybe not consciously but subconsciously Akshara does take him and his love for granted. Again, it's not unseen or unheard of. In a couple, the person who goes all out / wearing heart on the sleeve first tends to be taken for granted by the other person in quite a few cases.

@ Bold 1: She even thought he'd break up and cancel the wedding after knowing the truth. Break-up toh door ki baat hai -- he didn't even send aroo to jail for the hit and run. Why? Only because Akshara's happiness, her peace, and her relationships are vey important for him. He explicitly said so after the police were gone.

Unfortunately, Akshara turns a blind eye and a deaf ear to this, and just wants to dedicate her life to aroo, who has only abused and taunted her all her life.

Akshara isn't even able to accept her sister not attending the wedding. But she wants Abhimanyu to accept her sister who almost killed his mother. His happiness, his peace, and his relationships aren't even visible to her.

He was so angry when they met at the accident spot and wanted to legally punish Arohi, which was justified because Arohi hit his mother, left her to die and ran away. But Akshara started justifying aroo aroo and wanted to stop him and hugged him from the back only to protect aroo. That made me go

When it comes to right or wrong, relationships shouldn't matter. Manish pointed this out. She's still delusional in her aroo jaap.

Akshara again is taking him for granted and expecting him to accept her sister. Because he didn't send aroo to jail, she now thinks there should be no punishment for her sister 😵

Now he's only asking that aroo not attend the wedding. Phir bhi, aroo ki galti nahi dikhti and Akshara is like "I can't choose between the two". There shouldn't even be a choice here. But alas.

@ Bold 2: How I wish! He needs to stand up for himself in this relationship and draw a line. I also wish they don't show him so desperately in love with someone who doesn't respect that love.

Tomorrow, if aroo actually kills someone, there's no guarantee that Akshara will not support aroo by hiding the truth. Ulta she'll say that she herself is the culprit because aroo's career has to be protected. At least from what Akshara has done all along, it seems so. 👎🏼

Question is not why Akshara is the way she is. It's the way the character has been sketched. Her behaviour is neither surprising nor unpredictable. Neither is Abhimanyu's (be it yesterday's episode or today's). But as you say - there has to be a line somewhere and writers have definitely crossed the line in this track.

And yes, practically speaking, marriage at this point is not making any damn sense to me. Families hate each other, Abhi has his fears that are clouding every word and act, Akshara is actually thinking when he said - wedding with me / our love or your sister attending the wedding.

His words alone if you see, of course one would feel it's a tough decision for her to make. But the whole picture is that these two caused the accident to his mom, left her to die and fled the scene. Yet he is there standing in front of his whole family, defying them, saying he wants to marry her. Asking Arohi, who was in the driver seat, to not be a part of the wedding is an extremely small price. Yet she is thinking. It comes across as Abhi throwing an unreasonable tantrum and Akshara stuck between pacifying him and the love of her sister.

Issue is just not Aarohi doing Kaands but both the families doing... One family bringing police to almost get their bahu arrested and very next moment they start celebrating. One scene where hero doesn't trust her love but once her mother talks next moment he starts trusting. Both sisters did mistakes but eventually throw all blame on one sister. One moment Aarohi is asked to stay away next moment she is dancing with them in same function. Things change so fast here which is why its so hard to relate.

I disagree with you and abhimanyu is the typical male with his tendency to protect the females who are dear to him unfortunately it's down to them being victims of abuse.

He is rude sometimes to his dad and can rebel against unruly behaviour.

He is neither a brute nor has controlling tendencies infact akshara manipulates him as per her choice by forcing him to agree upon things he's not keenly fond of.

I do not waant...both aaru & abhi in my lyf.....but if I prsentd a choice I wud chuse aaru over abhi nyday.....bcos der was scope 4 a better rltnshp wid aaruu..but Abhimanyu is gng 2 b supr contrllng......he is lvng only wen akshu obeys him & does thngs he approves of.....if not he manhandles her & emtnally tortures her......wich v hv alredy seen.....

He has major anger issues.....& is a violent person.....it is easy 2 say he will never hurt akshu but in real life, ppl wid severe anger issues end up hurting lved ones 2.....
