Yes. Imlie's earnestness to help her family regain their respect & happiness came through in that heartfelt Dil Se❤️. Isiliye toh BS felt that she is just too precious for the world & did his cupping her cheek gesture.

LOL I think Pallavi bhi wohi bolne ki koshish kar rahi thi that society ki idiotic ladies have no idea ki Imlie is a state topper and college mein bhi top kar rahi hai so she can very well read English😆.....I think they are just trying to show how people make presumptions about someone's capabilities based on their background.....yeh log Imlie ko gawaar naukar samajhte hain, that is why they are presuming she wouldn't know English......Imlie didn't even bother correcting them on that point cuz she likely saw ki aise type ke logon ne wohi sochna hota hai jo woh sochna chahte hain.

Re: the stance on fighting society ki soch.....I like that they are showing both aspects.....the idealistic and the stark reality.....Adi's stance is just full on idealistic ki he doesn't believe in giving any credence to duniya waalon ki ghatiya baatein cuz woh log bas bolne ko bolte hain to tear down people......while Imlie's stance is ki reason jo bhi ho, jab log bolte hain toh dil pe chot lagti hai cuz isi samaaj mein rehna hota hai.....so she wants to erase that chot on Aparna ka dil cuz she knows how it feels to have to listen to crap from the world for no reason......

Adi and Imlie are both getting to follow their stances in fighting this soch.....Adi with his idealistic one which ofcourse we all enjoy when he's like bhaad mein gayi duniya ki ghatiya soch, humko ghanta farak padta hai😆......and Imlie with her harsh reality ko accepting wala stance ki in baaton se farak padta hai no matter how much you want to zone it out so I have to make some effort to heal family ka hurt. She's got a fair point as per her perspective too and I like how they are showing her approaching it in her Imlie way😊.

@bold: +1.....I'm liking this for the same reason......Imlie's emotional strength is being allowed to come through rather than her just sitting around being upset over logon ke harsh words.

Rather than being hung up on the label of a bahu competition, it's worth looking beyond that for the larger point this track is trying to make vis a vis a window into how society ke log think/behave. Many of us may find it OTT but it's not that much of an exaggeration in the realm of housewives ke society waale groups.....the random kitty party games and competitions.....all this falls under that only I guess. And a person like Aparna would definitely have wished to have the thrill of participating once she actually gets a bahu😆......we have to understand that jin logon ki lives simple hoti hai, woh in sab cheezon mein hi apna thrill and happiness dhundte hain......the IDEA of a bahu, the IDEA of having someone to participate in a competition with.....I think that is what is being tackled here......Aparna's perception of what constitutes the right bahu.....competition toh bas bahaana hai. For Aparna, it's been a dream and for Imlie it's becoming the means to bring a smile on Aparna's face.....that's all.....no one's worth is really going to be decided by this competition. Imlie also knows that and hardly hinges her worth on winning this......for her, worth comes from bringing happiness to your loved ones....that is all she wants. She feels that Aparna has ended up crying so much because of her.....the truth revelation has caused hurt regardless of whether Imlie didn't mean to hurt anyone.....so that is what Imlie wants to make up for.

Bahu toh Imlie already hai......lol I like that that part is beyond question now regardless of people not being happy about it......and best bahu is just one title in the superficial games of the society.....Imlie ka stance is ki game hi sahi, if it brings a smile on Aparna's face, it's worth it for her.

Speaking of emotional strength, yesterday’s episode was a clear comparison of the emotional capabilities of Malini and Imilie. Sorry I am bringing didi into the mix but it was so in the face yesterday on how the two ladies manage a crisis.

On one hand we have Imlie who has a strong resolve who would go any lengths to achieve what she intends to do and on the other hand we have someone who runs to her mother for every little thing 🤷‍♀️
We know Imilie has the support from Adi, but even if he didn’t support her fully in this, nothing would have stopped her from what she intended to do. Such a strong independent 19 year old that many especially one that can take lessons from 😆

On a side note, I get back to work after my summer break, will be on top of all the posts as much as possible🤗.

(I didn’t get a chance to go thru all the posts, so apologize if I am repeating some of the points that you may have already discussed)

Our powerful Imelia is back with a bang and I am loving it. In addition to our powerful Imelia, we can also feel a lightness in Adi-Imlie scenes, the lightness that saying truth brings in. It reminded me of the morning after Adilie scene after the sindoor drama, when Adi says he is earning to be back to the Aditya who always said truth and gave support only to the truth, his wish came completely true after he said his truth before even the ‘samaaj’ and as he said then, there is some turbulence but he strongly believes that time will resolve all the issues, provided they both stay together.

Imlie gave the saath Adi asked for, even if she was uncomfortable going into the party, but she had had enough after witnessing the humiliation of her family by neighbors, she is a fierce protector, she fights for everyone except for her. Adi fought for her till now, but she is now asking him to take a pause and that she can fight the battle from here on ‘poore dil se’

On a lighter note, Imelia ne patni ka haq dikhaya aur nikaldiya Adi ko apne kone se.. he would have regretted going after Didi and giving the time for Imlie to think 😂

I think Didi subconsciously does these kind of things where she blurts out whatever would benefit her the most but doesn't let herself realise that she is doing it. I think she has some psychological issues frankly otherwise no one can be so innocently harmful to others🤓. So her deliberately trying to instigate her mom against Adi-Imlie is not out of the realm of possibilities.

Didi does it every damn time. Chaabi maarke logon ko chupchap tamasha dekhne khadi ho jaati hai. Like her blurting out Imlie's parentage truth, her blurting out Adi-Imlie's marriage truth in front of her parents or her instigating the T family against Adi every time he disagreed with her or she felt he was being distant with her. And she subconsciously does it every damn time & claims innocence jaise ki use pata hi nahi usne kya kaand kiya hai. Kitni bholi aur masoom hai humari Mahaan Didi😈😆.

So much word on the bold- the golden bahu can give speeches to others about how she cannot disrespect her MAA but cannot utter a single word in her defense - simple because she is selfish - she is more worried about what ppl are saying about her rather than worry about adi’s mom or as a matter of fact her own sister.
It just annoys me that nobody is seeing through this trait of hers because all they want to do is prop her up.
I just loved how Imlie came and stood between Apu and the society ladies - it reminded me of the same Imilie that stood between Adi and the villagers - maybe her expressions were a bit toned down this time around but the protectiveness came through!

I did talk about the second Adilie scene in the previous tread but here it is again.. Adi is all of us in the next Adilie scene, yeh kya nonsense competition hai. Who are the society ladies to determine who is best bahu and who is not. Imlie does understand that but if that is what her sasuma wished for, she will do everything she can to fulfill her wish. This is nothing new to Imlie, just before Adi- Malini’s wedding, Imlie had a moment when she asked Adi for her Haq and Adi pulled her with him to share the truth with others, but Imlie stopped him after Aparna shared and happiness and what she wished for in her bahu, that was the trigger to Imlie to let go and give up Adi. She did so many when he was just known as a naukarani and they were not hurt by her. But now, she is known as they bahu, they are hurt because of her, so she can do anything to make Aparna happy. This girl has become a pro at convincing Adi 😂 kaise bhi karke baat manva leti hai, pouty face aur pleej hai hi, so called pattar ko piglane keliye 😀

The whole banter about Chirayya girlzz is hilarious. Adi had a very hard time controlling his anger and putting a stern face on. Imlie very well knows his anger is just a bluff, she just let it go.. convince hogaya hai Banda.. aur kya chahiye.

The smile and faces he made after turning away is adorable.. nazar naa lage
