The society ladies came to rub salt in Aparna's wound as they always do. Taunting Aparna & Radha that Sundar might be their daamad rather than naukar to their golden bahu being out of the picture & their naukrani Imlie being their bahu. Sab chatkare le leke taunts maar rahe the. Then came the taunts over best bahu competition. Will Aparna participate in the competition & with which bahu? Imlie was overhearing all the taunts & couldn't take anymore insult of her CK & came out like a mama bear to protect her sasuma from the taunts. She gave it back to the society ladies by reciting a list of their dirty laundries. Basically gave them a reminder that they should stop pointing fingers at other people's dukhti rag when their own houses are also made of glass only. She told them being a servant has the advantage that they know all the tidbits of their bosses lives & they should stop the taunting session of her family if they don't want her to make their home secrets not so secret in the society. Aparna & Radha both were watching Imlie defend their family fiercely & I think it did get registered positively on Aparna. But she is still hurt & not going to give in easily. She finally asked Imlie to stop with her talks & sternly let her know that she is the reason for their insult. But Aparna was a bit sterner to the society ladies in her reply than her earlier shamed demeanor & told them they would come for registration of Pallu to the competition later & they can leave now. Aparna did gain confidence from Imlie's defence & you could see it in her body language.

Adi & his father Pankaj have the same thinking about this nonsense competition that it is childish😆. Aparna complaining to Pankaj was too cute😳. She knows that it is childish but it was her heart's desire to participate & win the best bahu competition with her bahu. But Adi openly making a statement about separation from Malini & Imlie being his wife has brought upon them all the society's censure & she can never win the competition with a bahu like Imlie. So see last epis impact can be seen now. Now the elders have moved onto accepting that Didi being their bahu is a thing of the past & Imlie is their bahu now. They are not happy about it but they have at least accepted the truth about Imlie being Adi's wife now. Imlie overheard the convo & decided to participate in the competition to bring happiness & pride to her CK.

In the evening Radha- Pallu register in the competition while Aparna is standing back. Again the taunting session of society ladies starts but Imlie comes for registering herself & Aparna in the competition. She I think calls herself as Imlie Tripathi for the 1st time owning her identity as Adi's wife & Ts ki bahu. Aparna of course tears the registration ticket & reminds her they have not accepted her as a bahu so she doesn't have to participate. Imlie tapes back the ticket & is determined to participate. I feel Aparna was more bark than bite in the situation.

Again the head society lady whose bahu wins the competition every year it seems taunt Imlie some more about her not being capable enough to win. But Imlie quips back that not to be so confident because Imlie is also participating & she also never gives up. The hair so do of the rival bahu was so terrible with that godawful wig🤣. I would have marked her negative just for that itself😆. The rival bahu taunts Imlie that how her saas doesn't even accept her. So Imlie gives her lecture about the competition being about being a good bahu to their saasuma only. So she is ready to do this for her saasuma's happiness.

Pallu the sweetheart fully supports Imlie & encourages her that they will fight together as a team. Then the society lady with the weird accent herself taunts Imlie backhanded that they will share the details of the competition to every participants house but since they would be in English Pallu should help Imlie understand it. I wish they had shown Imlie taunting back that of course a state 2nd rank holder would not need help to understand details about a competition that is nothing but a society event. But khair the writers must have forgotten this ☺️. But anyways I was not fazed by the ladies insults.

Even when Apu tore her ticket, she just taped it up like no big deal 😆 She also knows this bahu competition is all nonsense but she will do everything she can to bring some kind of cheer in Apu’s face 🤗

KC has given up on Didi as her lawyer at least😆. Didi went all in huff to guilt trip him about leaving her case without informing her but he firmly let her know that he doesn't waste his professional time on time wasters. Didi is just wasting his time because she actually doesn't want to get divorced from Adi. Didi starts her usual main bechari & I am trying but it is difficult spiel but KC puts a pin in her balloon by pointing out how she runs to Adi's house using excuses of Imlie & Adi's mom. How she tried to insert herself into Adi's life. So he asks her to spare him from this divorce game that she is playing. Didi goes away from his office after trying to guilt trip him about him not understanding her. Didi no one sane can understand you🤣. We have been trying to do that since the last more than 100 epis but are still clueless so I will give KC a pass on that 😂😂.

Didi as usual goes crying to her mom about how KC has refused to represent her divorce case. How she is not able to get over Adi inspite of trying her best. She says that she feels ashamed of herself🥺🤪. What a joke😆. AC as usual puts the blame on the other party saying that it is all Adi's fault. He is a nalayak how could not fulfill his promises to her😆. She did give one good advice that Didi needs to divorce Adi at the earliest & get over him.

Didi ka crying has as usual given AC an opportunity to fulfill her sadistic wish of hurting Imlie & Adi. Right now she will try to do that by being the judge of the best bahu competition & humiliating Imlie & Ts at every opportunity.

We got a "follow up" Adi-Imlie scene following the events from Saturday.....lol except the follow up barely focused on Imlie being subjected to humiliation and Imlie instead totally fixated on the fact that the family had to suffer humiliation from society waale😆.......is baat ka gussa bhar ke kar diya Babusahib ka gadda pack and bol liya ki nikal lo yahaan se😆......Adi's like, why do WE have to stay apart the moment things get tough? And Imlie's like things are bad cuz the family is being made to feel ashamed just cuz we both are trying to be happy together......lol as always, Imlie ka funda is ki I can't be happy if everyone else is unhappy😆.

The argument boiled down to the usual.....Adi's like, "I don't give a damn about what such ghatiya minded samaaj ke log think who want to put down someone over doing ghar ka kaam".....and Imlie's like, "farak padta hai kyunki koi bhi akela nahin jeeta....everyone has to live in this very society so it does impact you".....she told him that he's considering society like a monolith but there are distinct people who make up that society, people who's names his family members know. She then further linked this situation back to the horrible things that have been said to her own Amma over the years - things that Adi can't even imagine.....so in conclusion - whether you like it or not, duniya ki kadvi baatein lagti hain psyche pe......and Imlie can't bear this family's honor being attacked by the outside world....she blames herself for their hurt (in typical Imlie fashion)....but at the same time, she also resolves to erase the hurt of that wound come what may......Adi hears her out and then asks her how exactly she plans to achieve this.....lol.....so she replies that she's just going to try pure dil se😆......Imlie has finally found her own direct mission.....new purpose mil gaya hai😆.

The rest was essentially a build up of this best bahu competition participation/registration......what's notable is that we have moved past the point where it was in QUESTION ki Imlie is Aparna ki bahu😆.....now everyone has accepted that truth to varying degrees - whether or not they are happy about it😆......I literally heard Aparna say in one scene ki tab mujhe lagaa tha Malini meri bahu THI😆.....Didi ka THI kar diya - wooohoo......lol......

More importantly, IMLIE is now fully OWNING her place as Aparna's bahu publicly....kya Mama Bear ki tarhaan aayi to protect Aparna from society waalon ke taane😆......ginvaa di list of so called "izzatdaar" logon ke apne gharon ke tamaashe😆......best was the bit where she was like I remember during AM ki shaadi, you were all claiming Aparna ne bade ghar mein haath maar liya and now when you know that I'm her bahu, you're taunting her over my gareebi?😆......Imlie ki zubaan finally activate ho gayi hai phir se and interest ke saath sunaa rahi hai ghatiya logon ko👏😆.......I'm also loving the undercurrents playing out between her and Aparna in these scenes.....she's fiercely stepping in front of Aparna to stand up for her and Aparna is noticing everything......even if she is rebuking Imlie, uspe in baaton ka impact dikh raha hai how Imlie defends them like her own.....uska apna parivaar.

LOL@ the little scene of Aparna complaining like a kid to Pankaj ki she had such big dreams about winning this competition with her bahu😆.....bacche jaisa dil hai Aparna ji ka bhi......Imlie overheard all of this and woh bhi itni saaf dil hai ki she decides on the spot that she will win this competition just to fulfill Aparna's dream😆

Competition registration waale scene mein bhi Imlie ka resolve was noteworthy.....I'm quite enjoying this confident Imlie even if yeh sab bahu competition OTT-ness chal raha hai......lol random things are so funny......like woh rival catty bahu who apparently wins the competition every year - terrible wig she's wearing😆.......and Imlie confidently asserting ki wohi jeetegi....haha.....aaj toh finally saas aur bahu ka naam bhi saath mein le liya Imlie ne......Aparna Tripathi and Imlie Tripathi......felt surreal to hear Imlie finally calling herself Imlie Tripathi and owning her identity on that level also.....these subtle shifts are making all this worthwhile......Aparna is showing her usual gussa but Imlie isn't getting fazed much.....lol saasumaa ne registration ka ticket phaad diya toh Imlie promptly taped it up again😆

Nice to see Imlie having Pallavi with her as support through this competition too.

The way he started the scene with adi-pagal Imlie to puri-pagal Imlie. So straight on-point boldia.😆He knows she's trying their best but it is also their problem. Imlie deems their problem as her problem. Parivaar mei ghulna asaani se, accepting Aparna as her MIL on her own wholeheartedly. Plus, chiraiyagirls ka fun banter to h hi, saath hi saath BS' secret chuckling of "nonsense" wala commentary on the bahu competition. 😆

Imlie also is cognizant ki silly hi sahi, if Aparna gets to smile again, then why not? 😆More than the award, Imlie's prime focus is to see Aparna smiling back. 😆She also described her description on what the best bahu award is.👍🏼

You know I am feeling optimistic about the KC truth being revealed soon😆. I know meri chop hone ke chances are like 99% but I have 1% hope that it will be revealed before the divorce if KC doesn't go back to being Didi's legal representative.

But all of it depends on KC not playing Didi's fake BF anymore. Agar he does that then no chance it will be revealed. But if he sticks to his guns then chance hai.

Adi-Imlie will at least ask KC why he is not Didi's lawyer anymore & he can tell them the truth. But I don't trust KC . He may still try & protect Didi ki mahanta image even though he is angry at her indecisiveness. Let's see what the writers show. But if the KC truth reveal does happen then we might finally get the ultimatum part of the long ago promo come into play.

Right now we are in the love stage of the promo. Once the KC truth bomb drops Imlie will again be in dharam sankat. But as we are currently going through the Adi-Imlie facing the world together phase, it will be difficult for Imlie to back off for Didi ki khushi. Both Adi-Imlie have progressed a lot as a couple in this phase. Also the truth is out in front of everyone. The family might not have given full approval by the time KC truth gets revealed but there will definitely be some progress in acceptance of Imlie as a bahu.

So Adi giving an ultimatum to Imlie over choosing her way makes sense. Backing off at this stage would be stupidity only as both Adi & Imlie will be unhappy if they are not together. Imlie knows how much Adi loves her & how he has gone against everyone to give her the status of his wife. Be it his family or the society. So he cannot give anything to Didi & none of them will be happy. I believe Imlie will choose Adi & her own happiness & that will be the ultimate win for Adi-Imlie love story. I want to see this.

Imlie needs to learn that sacrificing her own happiness for everyone else is not OK & one has to be selfish for their loved one. She can't leave Adi in majhdaar for her Didi's or family's happiness. Adi is the most important person in her life & if she is ready to give up her life for him then she should be ready to live a life with him as well against all the pressure from family & society. It will truly be her living the line from the song " Piya tose milne choda hai saara jahaan".

Again all this is my optimistic khayali pulao for today😆. One bad scene from the makers & all of it will go down the drain😆. As ever I am ready for my expectations ki chop🤣.

Woh rival bahu ki rival saas looked ajeeb with dark blonde hair coloring/highlights.

Both the rival saas-bahu were not styled properly. Their hair was so distracting. Saas with her blonde hair with the saree. It was not suiting her. And the wig of the bahu was really awful man. Kaise jeeti hai ye competition with such badly styled hair every year🤣.
