Why does Govinda not take on Dad/older brother roles?

Why does he not take on roles where he plays the leads dad/older brother? Similar to what Kader Khan was for him in the 90's. That's surely better then not getting any roles right?

I hope hes not still in denial about being a lead actor, because I think that ship has sadly sailed.

A supporting role stealing the thunder from the lead and getting all thr plaudits in comedy fil.s is something hes definitely capable of doing.

Govinda is blacklisted. He's done so many supporting roles from Bhagam Bhaag, Holiday, Jagga Jasoos(deleted), Raavan, Happy Ending etc, so it has nothing to do with ego.

He was blacklisted for his unprofessionalism and weird behavior bordering on Schizophrenia. Also all his weird statements. Hopefully he's turned over a new leaf and he does get another shot though, if not in Bollywood, atleast on OTT. His slapstick comedy skills are unmatched.

Govinda is a phenominal actor. Most people think of him as comedian or just a good dancer. But he has done serious roles also like in Shola aur Shabnam, Khuddar, Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharni, Hum, Aag...... He can easilly be casted for roles given to Anil. But I guess he has burnt all the bridges coz of his unprofessional attitude. Sunita has mentioned it in her interviews that she has been telling him to take up what work he gets but he is still stuck in his stardom era and his current friend circle is also not good. In 90's Govinda was a bigger star than the Khans and Akshay. Those guys are still romancing 25 year old actresses so Govinda doesn't want to play Papa.

once upon a time bobby was super successful 5 to 7 years than disappeareed 20 years

than came back with class of 83 and ashram

bobby deol can understand govinda and guide him

although govinda was much more years successful than bobby

but similar life and situations

more than any human on earth bobby deol can understand govinda mentality and help him and they are colleagues

bobby deol is 6-7 years younger than govinda playing father to 30 years olds lakshay in bads of bollywood

so why cannot govinda at 60 plus act as dad to saif son or jhanvi or annaya pandey
