Plus beauty hardly qualifies her as worthy of someone wealthy like Salar. She thought (keyword being thought, her entire family idiotically encouraged this nonsense) that she is worthy of Salar just because she is a supposed beauty queen, nevermind that a) Salar could have easily found someone as beautiful if not more in his own class very easily, b) he was clearly not interested in her (but was interested in Sitara) and she could have just let it go and been strategic and used him to get access to high society and hooked in a guy who actually would have been enamoured with her (like Tahir and Mehreen) and c) was not only delulu about Salar having feelings for her despite his repeated and very very clear rejections, she was also willing to defame him by bringing his character into question. She is a vile creature to begin with. Now to ask why Qasim is after her. Simple. It is a case of misplaced anger. Qasim did love Sitara but not above his own ego and greed and that is why he left the nikah. Nimi on the other hand defamed Sitara because she was jealous of Salar and Sitara's growing closeness. Qasim was very angry about that too and also later about Nimi's truth behind Sitara's defamation but he needed Sitara to remain defamed in order to marry her, otherwise Sitara had already said no. When he did leave the nikah, he contacted Nimi in order to team up and keep Salar away from Sitara. Nimi could have joined in but because Qasim had the upper hand that she did the defaming for Sitara and he had reminded her of it, she took it as a threat. That is why Nimi wanted Sitara to marry the Qatari dude because she wanted to get back at Qasim for the threat and then sent him pics from the Qatari dude wedding.
Right now, Sitara and Salar are essentially out of Qasim's reach. He knows deep down that had he not gone for the job that day, Sitara would have been his wife. But this egoistic man wants a scapegoat and wants to take out his anger at someone and Nimi is right there. Frankly Nimi deserves this. Also, Nimi is exactly like Qasim. She is blaming Zoya even though previously Zoya had repeatedly told her to marry Sitara off to Qasim in order to not deal with her at home as Salman's wife. But Nimi madam wanted to be gleeful and abuse Sitara. And when Zoya tried to marry Sitara off to her own brother, Nimi turned against her. Now good that she is in this situation.
If you look at it, everything Nimi tried to do to Sitara is coming back and will come back to her. She defamed an innocent Sitara. She got defamed for no fault of her own. She tried to marry her to Salman whose mother was clearly planning on abusing Sitara. She is going to get abused by Qasim. She is taunted Sitara saying she is a wife only for a few days. Qasim will definitely divorce her and throw her out because I genuinely doubt he wants to deal with her beyond his own revenge. She has tried to hurt Zoya and will try to do so again. Ehtisham will forcibly marry her off again. She was making completely gleeful at Sitara's being married off to a middle aged man with two kids. She will be married off to a middle aged man with kids in her second wedding. Good that she is getting this brickbats.
