In my pov they are desperate for it and the reason is evident its the same what you mentioned, its his comeback, sohai’s comeback, star cast is huge so they are desperate for trp as green channel is new and so far akhara has worked for them the most.

Hmmm but according to one of the user Green TV wants to become big that's why they're desperate for trp

Hum is always lazy to promote their shows with that much enthusiasm, Geo and ARY do better job at it always, that’s the reason why HUM has slowed down in recent years and the most probable reason would be budget and funding.

obviously green wants to get the lead, who doesn’t want? Its their opportunity , maybe they will cash it. Many channels came out but they are not able to sustain themselves because they don’t have huge funds. Green has and they are trying to cash viewership.
