Asad is busy shooting for Balah where he plays the character of Junaid. Talking about his character, Asad told us, "Junaid is a 3D character. It's more than what you see in him. He has this melancholy inside him which doesn't let him stay in peace."

With Asad liking the sound of this new character he mentioned how he also liked this challenge which made him accept the role.

The last time Asad worked with Big Bang Entertainment was two years ago, so what made him want to sign up with the team after such a gap was our next question to him.

"I felt like I wasn't being exposed to my best potential as I only want to do projects that push me to explore, learn as well as work hard so when Big Bang offered me this project, I couldn't say no."

Based on a script by Zanjabeel Asim and directed by Badar Mehmood, Balah seems to be tackling a very different project. Talking more about his character, Asad added, "I have portrayed roles that either had financial or household issues but Junaid has everything and yet he still feels empty."
