Ahad on the other hand may not be the tallest or the "gora-est" but you can tell he's well trained. It's easy to spot a trained actor versus those random dime a dozen actors and actressses we see on tv.
Their acting has really lifted the script. Zubiya could have ended up as a boring bechari and Asfi could've came across as arrogant and stiff (aka OKB's acting) but their acting has helped viewers identify and empathize with them.

Well said. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Just to clarify, I wasn't knocking on Sajal's ability as an actress by any means. But she has come a long way from her "Mehmoodabad Ki Malkayn" days. If you look back at her previous characters, for instance, her "Asmanon Pe Likha" character- she comes off as a total bechari. And you peruse her biography she gets chosen for these weepy girl roles considerably more than others. Though she's proven her mettle by doing "Mere Qatil Mere Dildar" or "Chup Raho." She also tends to over-act aka "Gohar e Nayab." With all that said and done, she never ceases to amaze me with her subdued performance in YKS at the same time contrast that to her "Sassi" in "O Rungreza!!!" She's gorgeous but she still carries the girl next door appeal. Needless to say I am a huge fan, no less.

As for Ahad, you said it all. He is well trained. And his transformation from 'the happy go lucky guy' to the 'mature/direct' guy was a treat to watch. His conception of "Asfandyar" is well received because of his variations in portraying emotions so well.

Together, Ahad and Sajal are not just pretty to look at but their couple has this certain attraction. Gravitas. And chemistry, well that I can't define. Because no matter how good of an actor you are or how much experience you have under your belt chemistry is co-incidental. Can't make that. They have it in spades! As evident as it is, I really-really-really wish and endorse them to star in more projects together.

Ohhh nooo not for a second did I feel that you were putting down Sajal. Like you said, she's been reliable however didn't pick the greatest roles and was portrayed as a total dukh ki maari.
A lot of it has to do with script, director, production values etc. I HATED chup raho but that's for another day.
Sajal was amazing in muhabbat jaye bhaar main and sannatta
This is my first time watching Ahad and I am glad I have a good first impression of him.

Now I am curious. Why did you hate Chup Raho ๐Ÿ˜† or am I opening a can of worms here.

Sajal has mentioned in some interview that she ONLY reads 'one liners' before she signs on. So, there is that.

My knowledge of Pak dramas is limited. Until YKS happened, the only Pak Dramas I had watched were "Tanhaiyaan" and "Dhoop Kinare." Those too after strong recommendations from friends and family. This is Ahad's big break but for Sajal, I was curious as to what she has done in the past so I youtubed a few dramas randomly. I haven't watched MJB or Sanatta yet so can't comment on them.

only 65 hours 14 mins and 36 seconds to go

Absolutely true, I have seen her in so many dramas, although have to say she looks the best with Ahad, amazing chemistry, also in terms of acting she has come a long way, the scene where she is thinking about Asfi, all good moments, it was so heart touching, the way she portrayed her emotions within few minutes, it was sooo beautiful, I had tears in my eyes, she is falling for him but she does not want to have those thoughts in her mind because of her past, its was absolutely wonderful.
I have already said enough about Ahad, guy is absolute amazing, so talented, hard to believe he is a new actor, he is going to be next heartthrob of pak industry. I was this crazy for Ashar and Kihad and Kashaf and Zarun but after that this couple is making me crazy, ๐Ÿ˜ณ Asfi and Zubia's story touches your heart. I am in love with them I think this is the best drama of 2017 in terms of story, direction and acting everything is perfect here.

Dude! it's the best drama of the decade! I may be reaching here but Farhat Ishtiaq is the "Haseena Moin" of this era.

Asfi says, "Woh soch jo humain khushi de woh zaroor soochni chahiye" cue Zubiya thinking about Asfi... hahah it was a heart felt scene defo but it was kind of satisfying as a shipper. She is starting to THINK about him in this way.

For Ahad, there is no way to go but up.

I have heard a lot of good things about Humsafar, maybe I should watch it between this pain staking wait between episodes.

Since episode 18 I have gone mad for AsfiYa..so definitely credit goes to sajal n Ahad acting and I will also applaud here tight grip n writing of Farhat ishtiaq n shezad Kashmiiri direction. Sajal n Ahad told how they used to practice there lines n u can see the he done.very dedicated actors๐Ÿ‘ now looking forward for future work.sajal will be seen now with Imran Abbas in Noor ul ain let's see what's ahad next looking forward๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
