I started watching this show a little two late. Only two more episodes makes me sad but happy that they won't drag stories. Saba Qamar chooses the best scripts about 98% of times so really sad I couldn't start watching earlier.
Not happy with how the Saba's mom's character is painted in negative light just because she is a wanderer and doesn't hold on to one man.

This is in regards to Sara. She isn't necessarily portrayed in a negative light. I would say that they portrayed her character in quite a realistic manner (considering this show can be a little filmy at times). I in fact have no problems with her character and I think Atiqa's acting is on point. I do not hate her and it seems that most people don't hate her either, rather they understand her issues. She needs help and is misguided. There is an immaturity in her personality and she was never able to address or outgrow her issues from childhood.
Also, you cannot ignore the fact that she is unable to stay with one man or has affairs. This has had a negative impact on her kids especially Manan and that is exactly what the show is trying to portray. One cannot deny that divorces, and affairs many times leave really bad and sometimes lasting impacts on children.
So is Sara bad? No she is just lost but she does need love and help to address her issues. She needs to learn to be satisfied with all the things she is blessed with in life.

Isn't Sara the name of Mishal's mother? Atiqa Odho's character or am I mixing her name up?

This will be a long review. Apologies in advance but the episode was perfect.
Another amazing episode. The situations and relationships have been woven together so beautifully. This was also a very balanced episode - all the characters got screen time and equal opportunity to shine with Manan getting the bulk of screen time which was well deserved. In such a short span of time we got the chance to connect with his character.
Everything Manan said really resonated with me. This is one of the only times a drama has captured the western way of life so perfectly; not everything is hunky dory, everyone is pretty much self-made. We are judged by our personalities, our work ethic, our behaviour more than our wealth and status. The entire conversation between him and Sara really stood out. He tried his best to make his mother understand that everyone should be treated equally. She tried her best to justify herself but you could see that she was slowly and subtly understanding. Manan is a great guy and even when he complimented Humna there was an innocence in him. Humna is already so affected by him. I really want to see more of these two together because they were so cute today.
I feel bad for Sara; she is a lost and misguided soul. She needs a lot of love, support, and direction from her family. Her inviting Haider's entire family over is proof of the slight shift in her thinking. Khadija on the other hand has become a wonderful mother in law. She supports and trusts Mishal fully, treating her like a daughter. On top of that Khadija is so proud of her. It was so sweet how Khadija recognized and apologized for her mistake in wrongly judging Mishal. Rarely do our shows address such things.
Haider and Mishal are relationship goals! Their every interaction is so meaningful. The car and breakfast scenes were beautiful. These two have come such a long way. Mishal was so proud of Haider. She takes pride in even his smallest accomplishments. Before it was Mishal who encouraged Haider to follow his dream and pursue politics, today it was Haider who encouraged Mishal to start working again by utilizing her talents. The fashion blog was a great idea. I love how at ease they are in teasing each other and in declaring their feelings. There are no lengthy confessions of love - they both know that the other already senses their love.
Lastly, Wahab Sunyhara graced us with his presence. He just makes everything even more worthwhile. I could care less about his dislike for Haider's family, he's just so entertaining. His comments to Sophie especially about her family and then Sophie's exasperation with him are the cherry on top.
"Waise Sophie jaan tumhari family bhi na aik dum rangeen hai, mashallah aik maa, teen baap, itne saare behen bhai aur mazay ki baat ...saare ke saare aapas mein sautele." 🤣
