Unfortunately Zee never does this.. From what I have seen (very little of other shows) most are OTT and cringe.. There is No story, no even pace, and no build up.. Just random bunch of scenes that make no sense. We are somehow supposed to understand that the scene is over and the next scene is beginning.. Sriti is multitalented and deserves better, I don't konw why she agreed with this.

Rahi baat story and all. Mein toh foreigner hoon lakin I've Seen a few ITV shows and let me tell you ke most of them are okayish, rare are those we Can Say oh this story is beyond awesome and unique hai. Phir bhi I prefer the dum tananana Era than today because kam se kam hume Pata ta ke yeh hota hai, but aaj with so many improvement in societies and all kya milte hai? Abhi typical ITV saas-bahu, cringe, stories with many loopholes, it's unbearable, man!

I've said this before on other forum, problem India mein shows ke production ke because the story is not written first and then played it's written daily and they do forget what they write and aise loopholes khatam nahin hote. Agar OTT Platform ke tara ya film ke tara karte toh yeh naubat nahin ate even on remakes (my pov) and plus finite karna chahiye ITV makers Wale.

If we MINUS excitement of seeing a top & talented lead actress like Sriti in a prime time daily serial after a gap of 2 years & put aside the fans hype on social media, alumni of Balaji as expected used their so predictable setup/template of BT/Ek shows in KMTMG.

Keeping aside FL & Marathi Chitnis family for a while, want to lament on ML & family here.

Mainly ultra rich Punjabi joint family of ML, Ahuja's are so boringly similar with a mix taken from recent BALH1, Bhagyalakshmi, dharampatni etc. BT serials..here they are so OTT as well.

But few characters in those serials from ML family were atleast connecting to viewers, here in Ahuja's case NONE.

Other than Virat's hyper & status showoff headstrong mom, its Shola & Shabnam i.e. Virat & his dadi also Virat & his PA cum friend Shanky who will be getting max screen time going forward. But casting, performance, character build up, dialogues is just about average for these key characters, which can weigh down this serial..

(FL & Chitnis family have some story to tell & can connect to some viewers, though.)

I do, however, appreciate the writers for some details - they have tried to make things logical, but the execution, and some times, the dialogues have messed things up. I like it when something shown or said appears random or out of place but is tied in later on - so far thats one of the positive things they've done.

The Ahuja's side of the story is ott and unimpressive so far.

Sriti akele iss show ko sambal rah hai .. A little bit of Arjit also ...But the story is just sinking at the first' week..The families are unbearable .... Virat's mother is just behaving like her previous show... Father is like in every show supportive.... Amrutha ko ek chashma dedo...Bas ban gayi pragya.Arjit and dadi I think is doing something new ..Like I don't see him doing this type no nonsensw,no trust in love type ....And here dadi also in team aukat... Usually she was in a sweet mode .....

1st bold.. This is what I mean by they are rushing scenes. One doesn't get the connect.. For instance after Amruta shot that fireworks gun (I don't know what it's called), immediately after the ML-FL eyelock, next scene is her getting down from a vehicle on land minus her sandal.. I wanted some reaction from the Ahujas, after all she cut their party short.. Rather than overhearing Amruta’s opinion on the dowry (which in itself seemed unrealistic, seeing as there was music and dance going on, and they never even heard Amruta when she was shouting for the boat to be stopped in the 1st instance), the Ahujas should have been more angry on their party being forcibly made to come to an end. And of course, all Hindi shows think their audiences are fools.. Hyperventilating over getting caught giving dowry makes no sense.. It is a serious punishable offence under law. Agree with the rest of your post..

You are a foreigner?! No wonder you could understand that Russian.. was it? that was posted in another thread? Fully agree.. With OTT, people have moved onto watching Korean and Turkish dramas, yet Indian tv is still stuck in content that worked 2 decades back. Unfortunately, everything depends on the ratings.. they tend to make a mess of everything in their chakkar for ratings.. that they feel inserting unnecessary drama in everything makes great to watch, but it's such a torture.

@bold: Disagree on this part. Amruta is too energetic, talkative (and kind of confused/immature) to be like Pragya. A few of her scenes felt odd for me - and i think thats because i have the hangover of Pragya in my mind which makes it odd. [Perhaps the closest version of Pragya is in the first track when she has decided to propose Abhi.]

Glad they kept one moment subtle in the 5th ep - after the guests left, Virat stood there staring at Amruta... perhaps embarrassed, perhaps feeling sorry, or a bit angry too. Hoped they wont have any long eyelocks with the bg... and glad it didnt happen. That scene did increase Virat's likeability for me.

Would've been better if the brother did more after learning about the ema.

These are latest lines penned by Mukta on insta, KMTMG is Amruta's story after let down by her baba.
