Secondly, the Laddoo Gopal gifted by Jalal during the Godhbharai Jashn was so heartwarming. I never knew he could think of that level. Gifting a pregnant lady a Laddoo Gopal is so divine, I am sure he asked Moti or others, and it showed how much Jalal cared for her beliefs.

You're so right! In fact, I was so disappointed that they never had any proper festivals at all - both the Holis were bland, and there was never a Diwali. Festivals add so much joy, and God knows our leads needed as much of it as possible. :(

Akbar was known to have joyously celebrated both Holi and Deepavali, I wonder why they never bothered showing all this? It's a like a ready-made script available and such a beautiful one too. Or perhaps they couldn't bear having peace in the show, when they could as easily have trauma and negativity. -_-

As for the gift, it was very thoughtful indeed, and very characteristic of Jalal. When he could think of the morpankh and baansuri as gift so early on in their relationship, it isn't at all a surprise that he chose laddoo-gopal for his child's mother. It was touching - his love for her, his understanding of what would make her happy, his interest in and regard for her beliefs, and his grasp of the beautiful symbolism of the occasion. ❤️

Only positive outcome was their love confession and consummation which also can be done without that track

hi, sorry if I am jumping on this at a time too late but I do agree with you. I saw that fake pregnancy track as one of the most idiotic tracks (well, following the MA body double stunt that was pulled on us earlier) in the serial. and while Ruqs has not really portrayed herself as the most mature in the serial, the stunt she pulled here was way too low even for her. especially knowing the kind of man Jalal is and the consequences that could arise should he find out.

I know right!! And it was more of a filler track before they might have roped in someone playing Jalal's another mom, Begum Mahachuchak. It didn't affect Jodha and Jalal's relationship in anyway nor Ruqaiyya's position was affected, only it humiliated Jalal and Ruqaiyya.

oh, absolutely, I agree with you. the writers could have used a better filler scene, in my opinion, because this one just was not satisfactory. they could have done better

and even the Mah Chuchak track fell flat to me given that she was one powerful figure in Akbar's life. here, she was just portrayed as a one-dimensional villain and her track was so boring I found myself skipping the scenes altogether. I also won't forgive this track for giving us the Khaibar track (and I have tons of negative words for that one)

don't even get me started on those horrible green screens for the scenes set in Kabul. they were so terribly done 😭😭😭.

Rewatching: Episode 153-155. I call them as Jalal's love realisation Episodes. Because before that no one told clearly Jalal what is being in love. How it feels. Obviously his stature is high so no one can tell him from their own. Ruqaiyya won't tell because she fears what if he feels for someone else, and Maham too. Jalal wouldn't obviously ask Hamida about that, and Salima though can tell, they forgot her. So they those Mirza's tragic moments to make Jalal realise what he feels and what he's going through is love.

I love how Mirza described love. It can strengthen a faqir to feel like a Shehenshah where as it can weaken a Shehenshah to feel like a faqir. It gives strength as well as it is a weakness in itself. One can't hurt the person one loves even if one wants to. Nor it can see the person who one loves in hurt and sadness. It didn't affect Jalal at first when Mirza was describing it to Jalal, but for sure he understood it so it remained inside his mind or heart. Suddenly Jodha appeared to him hurt, asking forgiveness for her Bapusa and lo behold! Jalal ears rang with what Mirza described about love, you can't see your loved ones in sadness! Their sadness will hurt you and it will stab you from inside. That's what Jalal realised that he can't see Jodha hurt and in pain! He went away from that place to get some solace or may be to ignore because he knew if he stayed there for longer, his sadden realise would k!ll him. A lot may feel that Jalal released Bharmal on request of Hakim, it's partially true. Obviously Jodha wouldn't have requested him to free Bharmal, she was asking for forgiveness for her Bapusa. But partially he did because he couldn't see Jodha cry.

Episode 154: There was a poignant scene where Jodha was requesting him to taunt, to punish her but not ignore her. He then replied and in a rude tone only, he answered her questions but there was a moment when to interject Jodha's word, he lifted his finger might be to say something hurtful to her but suddenly again Hakim's word rang that we can't hurt the person we love even if want to. And lo! He went away without hurting her because he definitely realised what he was feeling was love and he can't hurt her even if he wanted to because he would feel the pain himself.

Episode 155: Mirza's word on Jalal's condition was so on point. The rejection from Jodha (for Jalal), the fact that he hadn't won her still was making him restless and that's what he was feeling. He can't name the person in front of his younger brother because it would be an awkward moment for a person who claims who has no heart and was in denial himself. Mirza gave him suggestion to woo the person he loves then only he would get relief but again he interjected with no heart claim which was obviously he was telling himself. Now while Mirza's words rang in his ear, he actually stopped in front of Jodha's room because obviously his heart knows, where he would get peace to his restless being. He was in trance till he realised he came there, but in order to again deny, he seeked Ruqaiyya's solace again
