Chapter 11

Chapter 12

Everyone ran to the spot where the grave was present. After examining the spot Proff Dixit said “See here the skeleton has been dragged out by someone.” “ Let’s look around.” Said Rajat. They started looking around the forest. Paridhi couldn’t believe what was going on she felt scared she too started looking around the forest. She kept going deeper into the forest as she looked for the skeleton. At one point she came to an opening where she stood still as if time stood still. She saw a square patch without any grass but the soil looked as if it was burned. She had a flash, she saw a dilapidated house in front of her . Then she saw her self running towards it from the other side. She wore white anarkali churidar and a turban on her head. She ran into the house. After about five minutes. Shahanshah followed she couldn’t hear what was being said. Before Shahenshah could reach the house a burning body came out of the house. In the process even the house caught fire.

Paridhi closed her eyes and shouted “ Raaaajaaaat .... “ she fell to her knees there seemed to be fire all around her. “ Raaaaajaaaaat.....”

Rajat was on the other side of the forest looking for the skeleton. The sound did not reach him. But he suddenly felt restless as if something was wrong. He walk towards the other side as he went a little distance he could hear a faint sound of shouting “ raaaaajaaaat....” he heard. “ Paridhi....” Rajat screamed and ran towards the sound he ran for about five minutes. When he reached the spot he found Paridhi was bent over. Her whole body was shaking. He ran to her. Hearing the sound of his feet she looked up. Rajat came to her and took her in his arms. “ Kya hua ? What happened Jaan?” he asked caressing her back “ R....R...Rajat F... fire.... everywhere... there is fire. Stop please make it stop. Pleeeeease make it stop.” She shouted. Rajat scanned the area for fire there was none. He then looked carefully. He seemed to recognize the area. He had a flash he saw himself running into the clearing from the other side then approach the hut that was present there before he could enter into it a burning body fell out of the house and in the process the house caught fire. He saw himself screaming “ Jodha.” As he fell to his knees.

Rajat closed his eyes. He took a deep breath and then “ Paridhi there is no fire around here. Look Jaan see. There is nothing.” He said in a cajoling voice. Paridhi looked up then looked around. Saw that he was right. Then suddenly Rajat’s mobile started ringing. He picked it up “Hello. Yes Proff. Tell me. Found it ok we are coming.” He said. He stood up and picked up Paridhi along with him. “ Its ok there is nothing here. See for yourself sweetheart.” He said Paridhi looked arround. Then she nodded and leaned on Rajat’s chest. “ Let’s go they have found Shariffuddin’s body.” Rajat said. They started towards where the Proff found the body.

When they reached there they saw Proff, Dr Bashak, and Singhaniya all were present there. Proff Dixit was sitting on the ground and examining the area arround the body. “ Rajat went up to him. “ What have we found Proff?” He asked “Rajat the body has been dumped here in haste. Then these people ran away. See the footprint they seemed to be in a hurry. Something must have happened here.” Proff said. “ Humm .” Rajat looked at the labourers and workers with a lot of authority “Is traha ki laparwahi nahi Chalegi. Tumlogon ke naak ke niche se koi kaise is ko churake le jata hai.” Rajat said with a booming voice. Everyone present was surprised by the show of authority. “ Mr Shighania please make sure this time it is guarded properly.” He said. “ It is almost dark now let’s go back to the campsite." Said Proff Dixit. All off them returned to the campsite. “ let’s read some more over tea then we can call it a day.” Dr Bashak.

As the tea arrived Paridhi went back to reading.

You talk to your parents too Paridhi.” Said Proff saying he left. Rajat smiled and looked at her then captured her lips in his. It felt like pure bliss to both of them to be in each others arms. They deepened the kiss. Paridhi moaned.

But an other worldly eyes were watching them from a distance and burning with evil intentions. May be he wasn’t alive but he would take her soul if necessary. Because he had seen her first. She belonged to him. He would take her along
