I listen to Saint Levant- he's an artist whose songs are multilingual. He sings in French, English and Arabic. His recent releases include 'Deira' which is an absolute banger but he is most well known for his single 'Very Few Friends'. But yes, he was the one to make me realise how beautiful the language Arabic is.
You didn't watch the show from the very beginning? The scene of Jodha riding after the suicide attempt came much later.
OMG SAME! I didn't like the first Ruqaiya either, many people loved her portrayal of Ruqaiya and were sad at her replacement.
Saint Levant is a fairly new artist so I am not surprised that you've not heard of him-- I also listen to Saad Lamjard 😁.
Oh yes, Jodha being insulted made me wish to hit something in the Benazir track. 165 is the episode in which Jodha drinks poison right? Yeah! It was a very satisfying episode.
I think Zee is now showing the Jodha Akbar show with English subtitles! If you want to re-watch the show in its original form then I think this would be a great option for you to rewatch it.
Thank you for the suggestions, I'll give them a listen!! 💯🌟
Oh! That's sad that some of the episodes haven't been translated but it's still good that you were able to watch some episodes in their originality. I especially loved how Rajat changed his voice for the role of Jalal- made it deeper, huskier.
Yes, it was the effort that I appreciated, y'know. Rajat's true voice is thinner and higher so I was glad to see him capable of conforming himself to a character so intrinsically. He is a brilliant actor and perfect for the role of Akbar.
Your VMs are beautiful. Great work with the songs to match! I just watched these episodes again recently. I like them very much. Some of my favorite episodes. He finally owned up to his love and confessed it to her. It gave her the strength to come back to life.... Thanks for sharing !
I'm not sure if I liked the first Ruqaiya or not. She was portrayed more arrogantly. It would have been interesting to see how this Ruqaiya would have played the rest of the show
