This scene is icing on a cake.

There he should not had been an attachment to it; it wasn't supposed to change him, it wasn't supposed to make him say or do anything and, but for the first time, it had stopped feeling odd or as though he or she or they didn't deserve it, he had learnt under the influence of liquor to let himself be loved and love her as well.
