It had been a few weeks since Anjali had lost her baby. She was torn, broken, shattered. She forgot how to smile. She lost her faith in her religion. All those poojas, trips to the mandir and fasts were of no use. They seemed a bit pointless now. It had also been a few weeks since Arnav and Khushi's proper wedding, with rituals included. Well almost. After Anjalis traumatic experience Arnav and Khushi were in no mood to complete their suhaagraat.

Everyone had tried to cheer Anjali up but no one succeeded. She just wanted her husband, Shyaam. She was not aware of his evil plans and how he caused her to lose her baby. One day Anjali decided to call Shyaam, she wanted to meet him. It seemed a bit weird how he wasn't really shocked nor affected by the tragedy thought Anjali. She even recalled how he didn't run to her rescue when she fell. He was still in the mansion but why didn't he come? She had even realised how distinct he had become lately and how he began to take out his anger out on her.

She called him, hoping he would receive her call. He didn't. She tried again and again and again until finally he decided to receive it. "What?!" he shouted, shocking Anjali. "Shyaam ji why are you being so aggressive?!" asked Anjali. Shyaam couldn't take it anymore, he hated Anjali to the core but yet he controlled his temper once again "Rani Saiba, I'm so sorry I thought it was one of those call center guys calling me up. I'm sorry. But also I'm a bit busy now at work. I'm with a client so we shall talk later" and he put the phone down.

No matter how badly he behaved with her, Anjali loved hearing his voice. Her love for him was pure.

A day had passed yet Shyaam did not call her back. "Di? Can I come in?" asked Khushi peeking through the door with a glass of milk. Anjali nodded. "Di how are you feeling now? You need to look after yourself". Khushi could see that Anjali was lost in her thoughts, she left the glass of milk by the table and walked out. Khushi hadn't realised that she had left her phone on Anjali's bed.

Once Khushi had left, Anjali tried to call Shyaam. She realised that she was out of phone credits, she became restless. What to do, she thought. She closed her eyes and prayed. As soon as she opened them Khushi's phone had caught her attention. "Phone? who's is this? Doesn't matter, I'll call Shyaam Ji with this phone" and she dialed his number.

Shyaam's phone rang "I bet it's rani saiba" he muttered only to realise that it was Khushi's number. "Khushi ji is calling me? Oh my. I bet Anjali losing her baby has made her see sense. No, she doesn't love me. But wait, today I'll give Khushi a piece of my mind!" and he received the call.

Before Anjali could say anything, Shyaam began the conversation. "Ah Khushi ji finally you are calling me? I knew one dag you would call me." The colour from Anjali's face had drained, she was about to disconnect the call but instead became intrigued. She remained quiet but did make a quiet "hmm" sound.

"What's wrong Khushi ji, cat got your tongue? You know what? You made the biggest mistake of your life rejecting me for that Arnav. I had my eyes set on you for ages, especially when I was living at Buaji's house and let me tell you this, I still have my eyes on you. I'll never let you and Arnav be happy together. I knew you loved him from the very beginning which is why I enjoyed chasing you. The things I had done for you, kidnapped Arnav. Betrayed Rani Saiba, not to mention cause her to fall so that she lost that baby. Ah if only that dumb woman knew what I was like. I never loved her Khushi, it was always you. I couldn't stand it when Arnav forced you to get married to him, but it was a contract marriage. Stupid boy didn't even know you loved him and look what he did for his Di. He sacrificed your life for his Di. I told you to come on my side, I could have given you anything but no. You remained faithful to Arnav Singh Raizada."

Anjali could bear it anymore. The rose tinted glasses were off. She had realised what an evil man Shyaam was. How he was responsible for the miscarriage. Her blood began to boil. She didn't even utter a single word and she disconnected the call which left Shyaam a bit confused.

A single tear rolled down her cheek, she hugged her stomach. To some extent she was glad that her baby had gone yo heaven, she didn't deserve to go through a life full of pain and suffering. Anjali thought about the past, her wedding day. All the memories she shared with Shyaam. The pain Khushi had gone through because of her.

"Di?" said Khushi knocking on the door. "Di I left my pho.. oh there it is, in your hand". Khushi walked in, extending her arm only to be caught by surprise. Instead of giving the phone back to Khushi, Anjali placed her hand in Khushi's hand gently tugging her towards her. Khushi sat down beside her, Anjali smiled. For the first time in weeks she smiled and finally hugged Khushi. "Di? Di? Don't be upset Di" said Khushi. Anjali couldn't understand how supportive Khushi was considering all the crap that she went though. Thinking this Anjali broke down, sobbing.

Khushi placed her arm around Anjali, and wiped the tears with the other. "Di don't worry, I'm here for you. We're all here for you". At that very moment Arnav had walked in, he saw the two most important women in his life embracing one another. He smiled but then realised that Anjali was crying.

"Di? Are you okay?" said Arnav running towards her. Anjali had finally let go of Khushi. "Chotte, Khushi Ji I'm so sorry for all the pain I have caused you guys. I'm sorry it took me so long to realise that you guys were right and that I was living on cloud 9 thinking everything is a misunderstanding". Anjali had finally explained how she had discovered that Shyaam was a liar, a cheat and she finally vowed to get her revenge back on him. Sweet Anjali was no more, it was time for Shyaam to have a taste of his own medicine. Arnav agreed to help her.

"Chotte, you and Khushi ji should go and sleep. I'm feeling a bit tired now" said Anjali, smiling. She gave Khushi one last hug and cupped Arnav's face and placed his hand in Khushi's. The two love birds walked out of Anjali's room, hand in hand.

They finally arrived at their own room. Arnav locked the door and walked towards Khushi cupping her face. "Arnav Ji, what are you doing?" asked a worried Khushi. "Something I should have done a long long time ago" he replied kissing heron the lips.

That night the star crossed lovers had finally completed their final ritual, suhaagraat.

Now guys, many of you hate Anjali but why?! Do you want the story to move on or not? Think about it, in our daily lives we encounter many things. Our love lives aren't perfect, we might experience family problems and so on so why does it have to be any different in IPKKND?! Think about it like this, if we constantly saw Arshi leading the perfect life and perfect marriage, we would have been bored within a week. You might say no, we would enjoy it but too much of a good thing is bad for you and can make a sweet thing very sour. Now instead of always complaining I say you watch the show without criticising. In fact how dare you guys criticise the actress who plays Anjali? She wanted to leave but many of you complained about that too! I'm so fed up with some people, why can't you stop complaining? And why must you target the actors and actresses?! Appreciate the show that they are putting on for you. Appreciate their hard work. Rant over and comment please.

great OS
loved how Anjali found out about Shyam...
thanks for pm
oh and about your note..I think all are hating Anjali for first of all for lying to Arnav..her own chote..second, for taking so much screen space..yeah I agree story needs to move one but come on till when they will streatch one storyline...cvs are seem to stick to that Shyam..come on now it's high time for his truth to come out in front of Anjali and move on with another trake...they should not just stick to only Shyam and introduce to other new characters with many interesting characters with interesting trakes..it's one and half year this serial is running on and still not over with Shyam...also why they are introducing three or more trakes together at the same time?? They could have wait for Arnav's past...enogh of we got to know his parents of committing suicide, but for further past, they should have wait...also, it's true..now days they are showing more of Anjali-Shyam drama that to between ArShi=-romance and scenes..which are not good..I mean they could have given us their date scene with ArShi only...and also in Mehndi..the dance sequence..they shouldn't have shown such dramatic and painful scene between song sequence..thi serial is becoming typical SP drama and Bollywood films...so yeah people are more like annoyed and irritated with Anjali/daljeet for taking more screen space confusing audience of who are the leaders of thestory...

Very beautiful OS! I hope story moves something this way.
I agree with you that story has to move on, but CVs could have handled it better, with Mehandi as one episode and tragic accident as other, why spoil the beautiful episode. Thats why everybody is complaining.

Yeah I understand but what I don't get is that people are bashing the actors. I mean obviously they want screen time, or else how would they develop in their profession? I don't it's fair to bash Daljeet after all she wanted to leave. I mean I'm a student psychologist right, I don't want people to bash me if I ever become a fully qualified psychologist. It's just mean and horrible.

And if they don't have turns and stupid stories and time wasting tracks then IPKKND would have been finished by now. The CVS are doing this for their audience, so that we can enjoy the show for longer. If we don't want the show to end then we have to bare with the dragging stories.

=) x
